Staff where very pleasant at all times. Love the old type elevator. This hotel is in a very good position for anyone who love's shopping. Close to the main bus services, etc. In walking distance to the Zoo (which is well worth a look). Great experience for my first time in Berlin. |

Neat old prewar building in a great location, central but quiet; attentive courteous old-school staff. One of the people who works there smokes cigars (even in the kitchen); the smell dissipated when he wasn't around, but it created a very unpleasant first impression. |

The location is convenient for access to major sightseeing spots. Around the hotel there are a variety of restaurants and also bakery and coin laundry. In contrast to a rather simple look of the building from outside, the inside is well furnished and there is an old-fashioned elevator. The room has enough space and high-ceilinged. We enjoyed the taste of good old days of Berlin. |

Breakfast was served instead of having the buffet breakfast. I find this very personalised and I like it. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Stated on the website that wireless connection is available in the whole hotel but during my stay, I was told that there is no wireless internet connection in my room, I have to access it in the reception area! Plus, the hotel is located on the 2nd floor and the evalator is accessed by a key.I can't bring all my luggage up upon arrival. I have to leave my luggage on the grd flr until I ve the key |
