I liked the Scandinavian atmosphere of the hotel, including the sauna. Also, it was in a central location, and they had a lovely breakfast in the morning. It was quite far from the Viking Line port - we had thought we could walk there but we had to get a cab. The room was quite small, but it was fine for two days. |

I liked the persons that are working there. Also that it was in center and close to sea port. Breakfast also were very good. This hotel was very good for our 2 years old men also, because bed for him was perfect and he slept very well here. So it shows that hotel was very good. Yes there could be better to improve situation with TV, because it takes too long time to change tv chanells. But in our trip it wasn't neccessary. |

The room was excellent, small but very well designed, great beds and a nice local design feel to them. The staff was very kind (5 stars for the staff), the food good and the location was fine. It was very clear that the rooms and restaurant had a recent make-over. It was obvious that they didn't include the bathroom in the makeover process. For us it was fine, for people who are looking for comfort all around; plastic toilet seats and a Spartan feel could be a problem. On the other hand, the shower was good, even though it didn't breath the luxury the room did. |

I didn't stay much at the hotel and there is nothing I can complain of. Location is good and rooms are spatial enough ; breakfast was tasty and diversified. The hotel stuff was helpful. The parking lot was full though I tried to reserve a space for my car. Still the street in front of the hotel was empty and I easily parked there. |

Hotel is in a close proximity from the downtown (railway, museums and shops) and about 20 min walk from the Harbour. Rooms are clean, breakfast is OK, sauna is good. Staff is very polite and responsive. There is a small parking lot that came handy. We paid 50 euro per night, and it's a great price for rather expensive Helsinki. |

I enjoyed the Finnish design which gives a special flair to the hotel rooms. And our price was fair in relation to the rooms and the service. The hotel's location close to the city centre. The fascade (outside) and the hotel stairways (inside) and floor halls were a bit dull in comparison to the interesting design of the hotel room. It could benefit from some added Finnish design elements. |

The hotel is in the absolute center, walking distance to all main Helsinki center spots, restaurants, bars. Also, even officially they charge their parking, finally they didnt charge us anything for 4 days parking. While we checked in,the guy in the reception told u a different price than the booking1s one...when we checked out-pay time-,another recepion guy told us other money option....finally we ended up to the correct,bt we had to nagotiate. |

Simple, clean design - a bit funky and very friendly staff. Free internet on offer in the lobby and good buffet breakfast. And centrally located. Bathroom tiny and a wee bit grimy. |

Not particularly enjoyable in terms of price and quality. The location of Hotel Helka is rather isolated, nothing interesting to visit around the area except the Central Market nearby the train station. It situated in an area where the walk back to Hotel at night can be dangerous and insecure. I personally don't feel safe to walk alone in the street after dark. |

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location, staff and room facilities were up to standard. Good value for money. The only issue that we had was that we had a room facing a busy street, whereas one would have expected to be offered quieter alternatives before moving in. |
