The pool in the main hotel was nice The Lodge had an old musty smell, the room could have been cleaner, it was extremely noisy outside the hotel The beds were very uncomfortable |

Relax good quality 3 star accomodation. Breakfast was of a good standard with a wide variety and the hotel would always offer to try and accomodate you if you fancied something that was not on the menu.Close to the beach and shopping. An ideal choice for a relaxing break. Parking bays outside The Connaught Lodge are too small. |

We found the staff very welcoming and courteous. It was located in a good position for both town centre and beach. Excellent buffet breakfast. Air conditioning would have been helpful. There was a prominent stain on the carpet in the bedroom and the handbasin was cracked. |

Daniel 0'Donnell at the International Centre The climb back up the hill! Unfortunately my disablement meant I had to stop several times on the way back, but that's Bournemouth, you can't iron it! |

The use of the pool and the gym. The room was not well ventilated and had a sunny aspect making it quire stuffy. This was despite a fan in the room. |

the weather was fantastic, the staff were very helpful and the full english breakfast was superb. the main hotel was well kept and very welcoming. but the lodge was old and dated and with a premier in opening 2 mins walk away would think that the lodge would need a makeover to compete with the inn |

Hotel staff very courteous and eager to please.also enjoyed the leisure facilities.the standard of food was excellent and good value for money however please see below.we travelled as mother and duaghter which is not on the options below Although the food was excellent it was mainly a fish based menu.there was only one vegetarian starter and main dish.often the special was not suitable for a VEGETARIAN.aS I only stayed for 3 nights it wasnt such a problem however if on a longer stay it would have been |

The Breakfast The single mattress in room 221 had springs coming through it. I had to sleep ON the duvet. Very noisy with young people coming in at 3.30 making noise and banging on walls |

Your dining staff, the dining room and breakfast feast were exceptionally good. Made up for the inconvenience of having to walk to the main hotel. Parking facilities were insufficient and the car parking spaces badly delineated. |

All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was enjoyable. The woman who cleaned/changed sheets/towels in our room was amazingly quick! Returning after a splendid meal at a nearby Indian restaurant, at about 11pm, we fancied a nightcap. However, the bar was shut (Sat eve). We found a barman who duly brought us a drink, but I felt a bit furtive! There was nothing on the website to say the outdoor pool had been filled in. |

I liked the breakfast, gym, swimming pool and the barman made a mean Latte. We were on the 3rd floor and the lift only worked to the 2nd. |

Close for shopping and the beach with indoor pool and spa if weather not good. The bathroom needed updating. The bath was very stained and no fan |
