I did not sleep due to the room I was given was unfortunately located beside an absolute idiot who left his television on for the entire evening. He had placed his lock on so even the hotel staff weren't able to turn it off. Yes see above I was extremely annoyed to have wasted a night in that room beside a storing idiot who couldn't turn his tv off |

Very noisy events both nights we stayed not easy to sleep till very late . equipment in the room didnt work and not repaired dispite signalling to front desk.Hotel restaurant closed to guests on the one night we wanted to use it due to a wedding party.I had stayed here before as a guest of the regional development agency and got far better treatment that time. |

The room was well specified and comfortable but very small. It was a bit claustrophobic,. There was a pleasant comfortable bar/ lounge and an excellently designed courtyard outside seating area. It was well designed and landscaped to create a cool trendy and comfortable area/ atmosphere The staff early evening were very focussed on a wedding group. It was A hot day and I waited for about half an hour before someone came to attend at the bar. |

The staff weren't run off their feet chasing unhelpful guests like in big hotels, creating a more welcoming atmosphere. Instead when you actually needed something a friendly member of staff was happy to help. |

The room...................eventually, for reasons explained below we were upgraded The first room we were issued with had not been cleaned, the prices at the bar were extortionate, and they also "forgot" our early morning alarm call, despite being reminded twice, almost causing us to miss our train home |

Good friendly hotel at a reasonable price in an excellent location The room we had was very small and the overhead light had the shade missing exposing unprotected electrical terminals. There was only one bedside cabinet so I assume it was normally used as a single room rather than a double but as we were only there for one night it was OK |

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They ensured we could use our room to get ready (we were going to the races) despite the fact it was early in the morning. The room was fine and the bed was so comfortable. There's nothing worse than a soft lumpy bed. The bathroom was spotless. |

The location and the friendly cleaners! The fact that our room was not ready on arrival and we were not attended to by reception staff for 15 minutes when we returned to collect our keys at night time(there was a wedding on, so we understand staff were busy) |

We liked the closeness to the Sefton Park. The conservatory dining room for breakfast is beautifully situated. We also liked the secure parking and the terrace. |

Very pleasant and helpful staff Need doorknob on inside of room door, was difficult to open. Sink was too close to toilet, was difficult to wash. Hot part of breakfast buffet was lukewarm and overcooked, otherwise very good. |

The Liner is quite simply a hotel like no other. Step inside and you will be transported back to the golden age of ocean travel, when only the highest standards of comfort, quality and service would... |
This Grade II listed building built in 1861 consists of 4 Victorian villas which opened in early 2008, and are situated 15 minutes from the heart of the city centre. |
In the heart of Liverpool, close to the university, the cathedrals, theatres and restaurants, the hotel offers free internet access, attractive rooms and free access to a local sports centre. |
