I met with old friends for a relaxing weekend. The hotel staff were very accomodating and friendly. The food was good and all very well priced. The cleanliness was to a very high level. The traffic noise. |

A very comfortable stay with a delicious, though rather expensive, evening meal. Only the smell from the electric toilet! |

The service and the ambience of the old hotel, and it's vicinity to both Bristol and father-in-law. We always book the top room with dormer overlooking vicarage green - lovely room. |

lovely character building,staff polite,good breakfast our room was in need of urgent updating and found it strange that the bar shut at 11pm even for residents |

Clean, Easy to find and park the car; Very good on reception, Very easy to use public transport to Bath or Bristol. Warm upstairs cold in the Bar area, appears to be run on a shoe-string. The manager seem to do everthing. Would I use it again no. |

Everything! I've stayed here once before and will definately use the hotel again. The hotel itself has a beautiful ye olde worlde feel, staff were fabulous - incredibly helpful and friendly and the rooms are lovely. |

Staff hugely attentive (almost excessively so!); relaxing atmosphere after a long day; decent food; a good business stopover which I will use again As a business stopover a trouser press would have been nice but I am being excessively picky! |

Friendly, welcome service. Clean, well kept hotel. Recently updated room was very nice and the food was fantastic Could have had more vegetarian options (that don't include goats cheese) |

The staff.Absolutely superb service.first class meal. The only down side was that the room at the front of the hotel did suffer from the traffic noise generated from the busy main road. |

Fantastic service, we were shown to our room on arrival rather than just given the key. The room was lovely and the food was superb. Beautiful setting and it was perfect for a weekend away without the children. Can't wait to return! |
