We were going to the 'Take That' concerts at Old Trafford and it was within walking distance of the ground so the situation was ideal. We were staying in a ground floor annexe at the rear of the hotel which was away from the main building and had very poorly fitting windows which did not lock, so security was a worry. We did not want to take our valubles with us to the concert but in the end were forced to because we were not happy about leaving them in such an insecure room. |

Closeness to Cricket Ground for concert. Private parking on-site. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, probably the best I've seen and I'm a frequent traveller. |

great location for cricket ground and man utd stadium. friendly staff. great prices hotel lets car park to non customers so had hassle parking car when arrived |

the location in regard to old trafford excellent for matches. no flexibility when it came to checking in early, we arrived 1hour early and soaked but still had to wait until 2. |

The room was clean as was the communal areas. It also had ample parking. The shower didnt work, the bath taps work intermittently, the TV didnt work, the bed was uncomfortable. I left my key with reception when i went out for the evening when i returned they couldnt find it so they got a master key. When we got to the room with the receptionist we found the key in the door. |

Proximity to Old Trafford Football Ground. Competitive price. Although the beds were clean and comfortable, the room (in an annexe) was a bit grubby. Cobwebs in the bathroom and a window blind that fell off. Temperamental shower. TV reception was poor too. My son and I were only in the room overnight so it was OK and reflected the price paid. |

Easy Check in and staff that I met were fine and helpfull. Hotel has seen better days but was clean and ideal for those on a budget. Ideal for the cricket and the football. |

The staff were very friendly and the bed was comfortable with fresh, new linen and covers. There was a good selection of teas and coffees etc. and plenty of clean towels. The hotel was obviously very grand once - and isn't any more! It was rather tired and bashed but I kind of liked that. It was extremely cheap. The room was next to the road which was noisy and the TV didn't have a good reception. |

The hotel was very clean and very well kept. It was very a nice old style building on the inside. We had problems with the heating in the room as there was no way to turn it off or down and the room was very hot over the night. I alerted staff about this the next day and they promised to switch it off but when we returned later on the night it was still on and the room was hot. As a result we had to open the windows to get to sleep and the hotel is on a busy road which made sleeping difficult. |

24 hr reception was in the description but had to check in in the bar. The cleaners made a decent job of the bed but the bathroom had stains on the wall. The tv was unwatchable in the room and all together the hotel was not the cleanest. The road noise was dreadfull despite supposedly double glazed windows. |
