l'accoglienza,la disponibilità la premura ECCEZIONALE dei proprietari,senza aver chiesto niente , mi hanno assegnato una camera vista mare di categoria superiore senza aumento di prezzo. ristorazione buona,prezzi esagerati,specie per il vino |

The staff and the restaurant were great. Yes, the plumbing system is very bad. The shower is leaking, not consistant with temperature and the water sprays everywhere. This was in two different rooms which we stayed in. |

Very helpful staff, good breakfast.The room was very clean and the air conditioning was first class.It is a family run hotel and you do get to feel you are part of this family while you are a guest .Very Nice |

It was very close to the port and convenient for the ferries, but at the same time was close enough to the town and other facilities. The staff were both friendly and helpful. The hotel was fine and good value, but I would advise anyone not to use the taxis if at all possible. The local public transport is very good and cheap, but the taxis are all massively overpriced. |

The Hotel il Faro is strategically sited near the Sorrento port within 50m walk of the port with boats to Napoli & Capri. Bathrooms need updating, the hotel is quite old and it shows. |

The locatoion of the hotel, it is absolutely beautiful (except for the journey up and down the mountain). The breakfast room being sited in the stairwell, although not very busy. |

The location. Although your web site said that there are three restaurants at the hotel, one was only for the use of visitors on package tours.The other two seemed to be all the same restaurant. This restaurant was only open on one of the two nights we stayed, and was quite expensive. The food was fine, but the service left a lot to be desired - 20 minutes wait for a coffee and a longer wait for the bill. |

Excellent restaurant. Best Pizza in Sorrento!! Has internet access in the lobby. Very difficult to find interent access in Sorrento. Great view over the bay from the room. Big balcony on 2nd floor. Excellen location. Just a 5 minute walk up to the center of town. |

The staff are extremely helpful. They all spoke fluent English.Since my visit was at the end of June, the ice cold air-conditioner made my stay at the Hotel enjoyable. Also, from our room we could see Mt. Vesuvius and the ocean as well as the garden. The view was absolutely spectacular. Even though we were just steps away from the Marina, we could sleep easily as the room is soundproof. You have to walk through the hotel restaurant everytime to get to and from the hotel, which can be a little annoying. But, the restaurant staff were really friendly and helpful as well. Also we ate at the restaurant a few times and the food is really excellent. They have everything from pastas to lobster to pizza. From afforable dishes (10-20 euros) to really expensive dishes (140e for lobster). |

The view was great from our room. The room was ok; other rooms were larger but the view was not that great. The hotel is very close to the port if you want to travel to Capri, Positano, Amalfi. Nothing really. The stairs that are going to central Sorrento might prove to be a hazard for old people but the road gives an altenative route. |

Good location if you like to be down near the harbour rather than up in the town (plenty of regular transport up to the town for those who need it) We had a room with a sea view which had great views. Continental breakfast good. A very basic room, no tea/coffee making facilities, small tv with terrible reception, wall of shower had some mould at the top, however it probably wouldn't put us off stopping here again. |
