Very comfortable and friendly hotel. The staff were always very helpful. It was extremely well located being just on the edge of the old city, less than 10 minutes walk from the water and close to the tram and buses. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. |

it's all about the location!! Being in the center of the city is great, close to S, Bento station is very handy....location, location!! a hairdryer supplied in the hotel would have been nice, it's a necessity |

Central location and the older guy at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. The room had a wet-dog or old vacuum cleaner smell to it. It wasn't a deal breaker, but perhaps they could invest in those professional products that make hotel rooms smell better. I know they exist and are used in many hotels I stay at and are not that expensive. |

Locality. Shower cubicle was a bit grotty. two single beds pushed together does not count as a double. Orange juice was nasty, coffee not much better. |

Very well located, supervised parking close, very good restaurant in the hotel, staff helpful and welcoming. I wonder if it would be possible to arrange for some ventilation in the bathroom and perhaps add good reading lamps next to beds. |

Excellent location in a central and safe area of the city (some areas of Porto are definitely not safe at night); Good buffet breakfast in a nice room. The bathroom would need extensive renovation; The room was rather small for two people; Where driving to Porto, the very high cost of parking near the hotel (18 Euros per day) should be carefully considered. |

Excellent staff, speaking fluently in a multitude of languages (including French and English), and good knowedge of the area. We ate at the hotel restaurant in the late evening and were impressed with the food, service, and value for money. |

The portuguese decor and original features highlighted in the main hotel were charming. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The central location in Porto makes it ideal as a base for exploring the city. |
