Acta Arthotel  

The hotel is nice, very good placed, close to the shops, close to the centre of Andorra la Vella. The restaurant is good, fair prices and very tasty food.

The spa isn't so great...the wifi it's free of charge but it's an disaster...it's only a router for the entire hotel and it's placed in the ground floor...i've stayed in the second floor and of course wifi worked like s-h-i-T. Little choice for breakfast...poor in fresh vegetables.

We ordered a room service dinner...1.15mins later hadnt arrived..we called to complain and it was sent up cold! Was taken away and brought back...COLD!!! Manager came to appoligise. Breakfast was the cold!! Staff couldnt have cared less when we complained. Very disappointing!!!

I travelled to Andorra for a football gane between Andorra and Ireland. I found location of Hotel perfect. The value for money was excellent. I would certainly book this hotel again the staff were fantastic.

An emergency passport problem cropped up whilst we were staying at the ArtHotel. The staff were just fabulous about getting info off the internet for us, finding phone numbers, printing off emails and directing us to early morning photo booths in bus stations. If you need seriously helpful assistance with communicating with the outside world this is the place to go! Meanwhile the restaurant served a great meal at 22:30 with a smile! Great value all round. Also if you drop your car into the public car park at the rear, approx 100 meters away, at 20:01 and take it out at 07:59 it is only €2:10 for the night, not €13; then use the normal hourly rates.

The Acta Arthotel was very clean, and presented an upscale, modern design to its rooms and atrium. It featured a lovely spa/exercise area, which we were not able to utilize based on our short stay. We visited Andorra during a national holiday, which provided us with some advantages (we got an excellent, inexpensive, street parking spot), and disadvantages (most restaurants were closed, so we had to fend for ourselves walking around town and eating at places that were open-- which still was very fun.) We did not eat at the restaurant at the hotel, which had an appealing menu, but was rather expensive-- and, we wanted to capture a bit of the local culture.) The front desk staff was very friendly, and spoke a number of languages. I do not believe it is a 5 star hotel based on some extra "frills" one gets at a 5 star hotel, but, I think a four star hotel is a fair assessment. In any case, it is a bargain with the rate we paid, was charming, had a great location, and was clean and well-maintained.

This is not a complaint, but an "fyi" -- We were able to get street parking due to a national holiday, so did not have an opportunity to check out their parking lot. Street parking is very limited so plan on paying extra for parking your car in their lot if you need to.

The staff were excellent and the location was great.

The room was a designed in a dull brown color. I found it to be very unappealing and not a room I would want to spend time in. The pics of the rooms on here bear no resemblance to the room we got. But its fine for an overnight.

In our room window looked out toward the noisy street without a beautiful view over the river and mountains, as in other rooms.

Gourment breakfast at a low price, free sauna. Tony from booking department is very helpfull and skillfull for any task may arise, great thanks to him for making our stay most pleasant and easy at Andorra.

Thought we were booking a family room (double and 2 singles) however the double was a sofa bed. When we enquired at reception it appeared that all family rooms contained sofa beds. The room was enormous so it wasn't too much of a problem.You also had to pay for the swimming pool which wasn't mentioned anywhere - they did however credit the amount back when I queried this.

About the staff, they are very friendly and helpful. The hotel services very good, and it is near to the shopping center. The Buffet breakfast is perfect to a skiing day, and the spacius room is very confortable to relax after a day of activity
