The apartment was perfect for our needs. It was comfortable, well equipped and was nicely furnished. Very cosy!
Clean and well-equipped apartment, very helpful and friendly staff, good WIFI connection.
No good supermarket nearby
Safe, free parking. Clean spacious apartment. Helpful staff. Beautiful views.
We loved being on the edge of the town - close enough to pop to the shops/restaurants but away from the noise from the bars in the evening. Perfect.
Our apartment was officially big enough for 6 (though there were only 4 of us) but there wouldn't have been enough room for 6 - only space for 4 to sit in the lounge area, and only space for 5 at the table.
Spacious, well equipped and warm.
Not much going on in Soldeu during the evenings, but that isn't of course a fault of the apartments!
great accomodation and area
Friendly reception, even after the checkin did last longer than the communicated opening hours.
1. It was difficult to find the reception. The correct arrival directions were correct but IMHO incomplete. I was missing any hint where the entrance might be. It took me at least 10 minutes of search. A sign "reception 100 meters downwards" on the main street (at the building featured in the listing) with an arrow would have helped ... 2. The bed was disappointing. A foldable couch, in the middle of the apartment. The one in the first apartment could not be unfolded completely (not flat), so I had to change the apartment. Fortunately the facility was not fully booked. 3. No mountain view from my apartment, just some soil.
The room was modern, clean and had everything we needed.
Comfort of the beds was terrible. The amount of noise that you hear from people in the corridors and doors slamming all through the night.
i did not like the fact that the photo made it look like we were close to the village but instead we were closer to el tarter than soldeu . the apartment is not suitable for two adults and two children very small.
Very nice appartments, clean and modern with great views. Comfortable even with 2 older children, parking in garage also good, recommend highly.
Frendly helpful staff Bus Service to Lifts Free car Parking
nice spacey apartments with good view
this time we stayed in a studio apartment and where a bit surprised that it didn´t have a proper bed, only a couch
a lovely apartment, good value for money, clean and well maintained, staff available at any time, good parking facilities, had everything needed - towels, hairdryer, washer/dryer, would recommend to friends and family
one bedroom did not have a window, a radio or some music device would of been nice, but overall a good value clean apartment
extremely helpful staff, willing to aid guests beyond the usual service level expected
not too far way from city center, but a uphill walk
Staff very helpful and accommodating to our requests
The shuttle service to the gondola. The apartment layouts.
Weak wifi capabilities.
The staff are very helpful and have a friendly manner. The shuttle bus in the morning was a great service. The appt was comfortable and spotless clean. We asked could we be facilitated with an afternoon checkout to coincide with our departure and that was no problem at no extra charge. The car parking was handy too. I would stay here again and would recommend it to friends/family.
The only thing I didn't like was the walk into Soldeu village but saying that it's only 10 mins to the gondola. There was a shuttle bus service in the morning and afternoon, this was handy but at other times we walked. It snowed heavily and the paths were very slippery as they were not cleared properly.
Clean and spacious. very good reception and helpfull staff.
Good size apartment- we had a 3 bedroom and the 6 of us were comfortable, easy walk to ski lifts.
Wifi connection in our room (corner suite) didn't work well.
fantastic view, wonderfully clean..great refrigerator...really nice staff and just a great good old time...we are definitely going to go back!
needs hooks around the apartment especially in the entrance for hanging jackets. The pillows were too hard for my comfort..and they need to add a carrot peeler to their tools for the kitchen..if staying more than three days need to bring toilette paper, need to bring all cleaning detergents for cloths, and dishes and dish washer as well as a sponge, paper towel too. The fan in the bath room makes too much noise. The wi-Fi did not work very well.
I've been to soldeu many times and always stayed at the sports hotel. As this was very expensive I decided to book an apartment . I was pleasantly surprised how close they were to the town just a four minute walk. The apartment was new and had everything . We had three bedrooms which was fantastic. Everything clean and had underground parking. The staff were also helpful and nice.
The heating we had problems with and the main radiator didn't work. On speaking to the staff they gave us a portable heater which was enough BUT there should of been constant heating. This was not a major problem but could of been if the weather had been really cold .
Exceeded all expectations!! Jan 25 - 29th stay with 2 appartments. From the moment we booked the staff helped us every step of the way, including out-of-hours check-in. Having previously stayed in French PV, MV and Mona Lisa properties the La Pleta complex is a breath of fresh air. The appts are very spacious, well equipped (WM & DW!) and prepared to a 4* hotel standard. Bedding, toiletries and towels all very nice. Nice quiet location, but only short walk from Soldeu village. The minibus shuttle is great, takes 45 seconds to the main lift. Really helpful driver. The areas around the apartment are kept snow/ice free by a Caretaker that really goes out of his way to help you. Underground parking is huge asset as there was 30cms of snow during our stay. Although we travelled as a group of mates we are all dads and would have no hesitation returning with our young families. I actually work in the travel industry and immediately noticed La Pleta & Soldeu staff, piste patrols, ski school etc are all making a huge effort to welcome vistors, which makes a welcome change from other big, expensive ski resorts in the country just North of Andorra. Thumbs up to Lisa & crew!We will all be re-booking. ps its a pleasant 3 hour drive from BCN T2, Thrifty didn't charge for taking car into Andorra.
very minor - Sofa beds are a short-term solution, suited more to kids & teenagers rather than 17 stone Dads.
The flat is fairly new, good bedding. The staff is helpful and kind.
The kitchen is really badly equipped, no tea towels, proper knives, cutting board etc. nor light above the sink, poor cuttlery and crookery for 6 and bad electrical fitting (we rented a perfectly working "raclette" cooker which we couldn't plug without short circuiting the whole place). The car park is narrow and we got only one car-park for 6 people, 2 cars. The shuttle got stuck in traffic, we waited 45mn to get picked up. No shuttle from 10.30 am till 3 pm.Th enlace is too far to walk to the ski lift or shops.Only one shower for a 6 people flat, no bath.
A very nice place to stay for a winter vacation in Grandvallira. Stayed in building nr 9. Building/appts are new, comfy, clean and very well equiped. Staff (Anna/Pam) exceptional. Location is good and they have a bus running every 5-10 mins to the lifts. Walking is about 10 mins to the center of Soldeu. Wi-Fi working good, amenities and stuff all OK. Covered parking (with car lift!!). Overall, a very good experience.
Well, they could have prepared a full basket of selection of Andorran cheese and jamon and leave it every morning outside the door. :) ...kidding...there's nothing we did not like.
Free wifi was a bonus as a lot of the hotels still charge by the day. It was fast and consistent. The bus to the slopes in the morning was a great service and saved having to walk up the hill each morning. (Would be fantastic if bus could run a little later even until 10.30 for the not so early risers!) The apartments are spacious and the little packs with washing up liquid and cloths and washing tablet etc are a great idea. Most definitely would stay here again excellent value for money.
Need to get a sign up clearly marking where reception is - we arrived after 8pm in the dark with 2 suitcases and 2 hand luggage bags, the driver (private transfer) dropped us off at the edge of the main road and we spent 15 mins in the falling snow wondering up and down the hill (both outside road and inside road) looking for the main entrance and even when we found the right building it still wasnt very clear if we were going to reception or entering someone's home/personal room! The shower was a nightmare - was broken and although was fixed immediately when requested the water still went over the top of the door as it was positioned too high on the wall and couldnt be moved so floor ended up getting soaked and as no change of towels during the week it was a bit of a problem!
