This charming mountain hotel is 6 miles from Andorra la Vella. It offers free Wi-Fi and direct access to the cable car which goes to the Vallnord Ski Resort.

Located in the center of the village of Arinsal, the Montané is built in the traditional stone and wood style of a mountain lodge.

During the winter season, guests can use ski lockers and the ski bar. In summer, the Montané is an ideal base for hiking in the mountains.

Hotel Montané’s restaurant serves a range of local dishes. Drinks are available in the bar.

Vallnord was created when the Andorran ski resorts of Ordino-Arcalís and Pal-Arinsal were linked. The position of Ordino guarantees snow all season long. It also has a large network of artificial snow cannons. There are many different slopes, with well-distributed and efficient ski lifts to avoid crowding. The resort of Pal-Arinsal has an excellent range of slopes for all levels of skier, from experts to absolute beginners. It is also known as a family ski resort.
Grandvalira has the largest vertical drop in Andorra, with 1050 metres. It also has beautiful forest scenery.

Anonymous Solo traveler Portugal December 13, 2011	Everything. The hospitality was excelent. The food, although simple is very nice for the price. The quiet and wormy restaurant is very pleasant. The room was big, with incredible views for the Arinsal Skying cable car and with a good heating system. The price with half board was incredible for the time of the year (probably because there was no snow, but next year I will confirm it). Parking is nearby. Location is excelent, far away from the city, but enough close to get there in minutes. Also a bus stops by right in front. In a few steps an English Bar, and other bars (one with live music in those days). Also restaurants are location in a few steps or in 5 min walk. Really excelent. My new reference in Andorra. Package was half board and was excellent value for money. The location is in the centre of the village adjacent the ski lift. The owners are english but well established in Arinsal. La atención, preocupación y esmero por dar un buen servicio, sacarte de dudas, aconsejarte e incluso reservar excursiones es increíble. La cantidad y la calidad es cada una de las comidas es de agradecer, aunque hay que tener un gran estómago para acabárselo todo. En fin, MUY recomendable.
