Very long check in process. We came at 16:00, but got room only at 17:00 and very bad, that somebody give us call at 13:40 and asking when we coming. for what need stupied questions, if it's not working. |

The location of Al-Rotana is in very close proximity to the city center. So if you intend to go to the souq(Market) you will be in the range of 5-10 minutes drive. On the other hand it is also in a close driving distance to Hafeet Mountain and other touristic places. There is the movie theater next to the hotel which during weekends it is hard to find a parking spot during the night. |

That the printer at the secondary reception was not working and I had to go to the main reception for checkout, when I was in a hurry. Also, that no part of the breakfast food could be taken away, which I had wanted to do so that I could eat a croissant on the way to a meeting that I was late for. |

The suite was very nice, the pool was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful (as they needed to be). I seriously doubt if this review will find it's way to the website!! Lack of toiletries for two people on arrival, only one bath robe, card entry system was terrible and didn't work for 90% of the time, buffet breakfast was limited and no pork selection, the wrong newspaper every morning, the TV switched itself off after a couple of minutes every time, the barber shop was not open at the times indicated, the beauty salon was dirty and unpleasant, the shower drain could not cope and the bathroom flooded. We visited your hotel to spend a relaxing weekend and celebrate our wedding anniversary and a birthday. Both were spoilt and memorable for all the wrong reasons. |

We have had a nice experience there , beach side is excellent ,breakfast is good as always at the rotana ,we recommend this hotel for family & fun ..... There should be more options for sports and check in & check out timings should be changed as it is 2 pm .........that is why the staff is always in trouble to handle the pressure of the guests....... |

The rooms and chalets location to the swimming pool gives a friendly sense. Of course , the attitude of the receptionists and guest relations were slow and cold. They were not responding enough to our needs. There was also a shortage of receptionists number during check-in and out times. |
