This was a decent hotel without being too extravagant! The staff were very firendly and helpful!!! Location was decent about 15/20( mins to the centre of Dubai by taxi, which are cheap!! Nothing really, was kind off hoping it would be a luxury hotel that i managed to get on the cheap but was just a good hotel with no complaints!

Hotel was very clean and staff friendly and helpful. Very good facilities and great for the family as we stayed in interconnecting rooms. A bit far from the main attraction points in Bur Dubai

We stay there for 6 nights and we found the decors very pleasant; and the rooms were spacious and nicely furnished as most hotels are in Dubai! The hotel appearance was a perfect 4 stars hotel. The quality of management, the services, and the atmosphere were way below 4 stars quality: 1. A day after checking out, I became sick. I had developed an acute bladder infection, followed by a sever reaction to Cefixime antibiotic. I knew the infection was caused by infested bide in my room: The young lady (the room made) was not cleaning our bathroom very well, to the extent that for 2 days the beach sands and the filth were still visible in my bathtub. I had to call the housekeeping to send someone to clean it. I regret tipping her and asking the supervisor not to report her to the manager! 2. The reservation staffs were not informed about the international terminologies and standards that are commonly used, e.g. my friend and I wanted to share a room with 2 full beds (a comfortable size for one person). We had many miss communications regarding “single” bed—a very narrow bed that only one person can sleep on—and a full bed—that it is wide enough for even 2 person. Although I kept insisting that most hotels in Dubai have 2 full beds in a room not single, they insisted that I am wrong. So we ended up reserving 2 separate rooms, and when we got to our rooms, we sow that the so called “single” beds were indeed 2 “full” beds. And since cancellation was not allowed, we end up paying for 2 rooms instead of one. Only because of lack of professional knowledge and aptitude of people involved. 3. One day a driver from Pakistan, working with the hotel, was supposed to take us to “The Lagoon” near Festival City and the hotel’s bellboy (Harris a friend of him) "gave him all the instructions". However, he took us to a construction site near water, in the middle of nowhere, telling us “this is the lagoon”. We kept showing him the map and insisting that this is not the place we wanted to go, but he was insisting that we should get off the car. When we were about to call the hotel, he offered to take us to the Marin Walk—where we could have gone with metro.

Absolutley fantastic!!! I arrived on an early flight (0600) and upon arrival at Coral Deira I was given a very cooling fruit juice whilst I waited for my room (30 mins) I was allowed into my room prior to the official check in time (1400). The staff are fantastic nothing is too much trouble and I never carried a bag for the whole trip and boy did I shop!!! Rooms are spacious and airy and have everything you need including english breakfast tea. The metro is nearby which will take you all over Dubai and there are several shops and a mall within walking distance (2 mins) .Thoroughly reccommend this hotel. I would find it very difficult to find anything to complain about anything.

Easy check-in and check-out. Hotel offers a friendly atmosphere. Hotel located near the metro station- cheap transportation system. Taxis are also reasonable. Our room had a musty smell. Internet also alittle pricey. Avoid changing your currency at the hotel. They offers a low exchange rate- there is lots of places down the street with higher exchange rates.

Review from European Expat living in Oman: Expectation based on review rating was much higher than reality was. It as a basic, older hotel. Rooms are tidy, but old though. There is an odd smell thourgout the hotel corridors. Swimming pool is very basic and women should be aware of local expectations to be dressed very conservative, something you would not expect in touristic hotel. I would not recommend this hotel.
