Cristal Hotel Abu Dhabi  

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and very professional. They helped booking taxis, taking bags to and from the room and allowed us to book in two hours early free of charge. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Room was well sound proofed and wifi was free. Had a delicious room service meal which was freshly made and delivered on time. Location was great in terms of being able to walk to shops and a food market. Room was very spacious with two complimentary bottles of water and three movie channels in English to enjoy. Bathroom had a wonderful deep bath with bath robes and a device providing an option to listen to the television whilst soaking in the bath.

Everytime we used the shower or bath the bathroom roof would leak like Niagra Falls. The first time was quite scary. I reported it to Reception who sent an Engineer to fix the problem followed by Housekeeping to mop up the mess. Problem was it happened again in the morning. Lucky we were checking out and didn't have to put up with it for long. I didn't really feel comfortable walking around the immediate area by myself with my daughter. Probably would have been better off booking the half day tour to the desert for dinner, belly dancing and a 4wd adventure!

Hospitality of the staff

The sheer convenience of being near to Madinat Shopping Centre, pharmacies, Etihad, the American Embassy, the Kazakh embassy, the Central Souk, and Corniche walk.

Your check-out policy. I had been a guest there for 2/3 days and I had to check out at 12pm. Your Reception staff kindsly allowed me to stay there 3pm, then stored my stuff till 7 when I left for the airport. Since I had been a guest there, why could they not offer me a half-day so I could be in comfort till I left, rather than prowling the city looking for ways to kill time? I understand that this is impossible if the hotel is full, but it wasn'T.

Very very friendly staff. All are happy to answer any queries or provide any kind of assistance. Valet parking made life easier. I loved this place and I will visit it again.

The Salamon meal which I ordered from room service was terrible :)

Lovely suite, wonderful price (less than 600 AED for a night). Nice facilities, helpful staff.

Not much to complain about at all!

Very central to town and easy to get to places. Very comfortable rooms and value for money. Helpful staff and hotel is very clean. Pool open at sensible times for all to enjoy.

the noise from the restaurant in my room ( one floor below) I waited more than 30 minutes to find a taxi which in hotter weather would not be possible

Great rooms interconnected for kids. Food was excellent and location is great for walking, shopping and sightseeing

Only suggestion for Abu Dhabi as a whole is to arrange for bigger taxis when a family of 4+ arrives at airport. Normal cabs cannot fit everyone plus luggage

The staff is kind and really caring and friendly.

The food variaties sometimes were not mixed appropriately but there is good chance to find something you can like.

Extremely friendly and prompt staff, relatively clean room but excellent common areas, very good spot in Abu Dhabi City.

No Bar in the Main Building

The staff is very friendly. I found the desk manager Mr Yazid, very helpful and all staff are cooperative. Breakfast is super. The parking faciliy is excellent and the hotel is nearby many service providers: landry, tailoring, stitching, ethnic and local eating, etc.

When the hotel gets crowded and groups are rushing in or out...

Some rooms - those with view are good. Nice design, good toiletries (quality shampoo/conditioner). Design is good and cleanliness excellent - extra crisp bedlinen.

First we got a room with windows facing a wall. Then a smaller one with no working hair drier, and they could not provide one. Therefore next day we asked to be moved in an other room which was nice. Small pool, cold sauna.

Very pleased, everything was like a had wanted. Calm and quiet, good service, right in the center of town. Price Ok. The staff was very helpfull. There is no hotel bar - no alcohol, but there are bars just 5 minutes from hotel

We were given a free upgrade on arrival. The staff were very very helpful - the airline lost my luggage and the hotel staff kindly sorted it all out for me! The rooms were lovely, quiet and very clean. The location is very central.

I had a non smoking room but it still smelt a little bit smoky. The views from the rooms aren't great, I looked directly onto the side of the building next door. The pool is quite small but fine for a quick dip.

Staff hospitality, location, swimming pool is suitable for young kids, room is clean and comfortable, nice and good room furniture, breakfast was wonderful and a 5 stars varieties and taste.

Every things was excellent,confort, near of market and restaurants, The bed is very good, the rom was always very cleané. I'll stay there the next time i visit Abu Dhabi

No clock in the room except on the phone but we can't see them during the night.We have to pay for local call. The breakfast's price is too high comparate to small restaurant around the hotel.
