There is a polo staduim inside the hotel and there are matches schduled over the week. It is a quit place and relaxing specially with the private swiming pool available in the villa. They have upgraded my booking to a 3 bedroom villa instead of 1-bedroom free of charge. |

The Desert Palm was a welcome break away from the hustle and bustle of Dubai. The rooms were fantastic, comfortable and well equipped. The spa was excellent and the chance to watch polo was a fantastic addition. Overall a pleasant weekend away from it all..... The space around the swimming pool is very limited for sun loungers and the day guests for the Friday afternoon monopolised the whole cabana area, leaving no room for other guests. The cafe bar staff were not the best either, forgetting to bring parts of the order or not advising of the limitations of the menu (i.e. no salad, just potato salad!) and just bringing you what they thought was best! |

The staff were amazing, the room was complete luxuary and the hotel was very peaceful and relaxing. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, its possibly the best place i have had the pleasure to stay in and i personally will be returning. No nothing, i love everything about the dessert palm |

I like the privacy, food and the design of the hotel. Yes, there was a delay of one hour and a half for the check in. the pool was not clean and not temperature controlled. |

Everything was beautiful, excellent place to escape or for the seasonal honeymooner like us to relax and enjoy the total privacy the villa offers us. |

I liked the idea of enjoing the swining pool in privecy For a while, there were some maintenance work at the afternoon time outside the villa & we were not comfortable about it. But in general it was a very good experience |

Very attentive staff, great amenities in the room/suite, I liked very much the B&O Soundystem with the i-pod provided or own i-pod connected. It is nice small hotel with not too many guests around. From the pool, great view of the polo field (seasonal activities). Breakfast not includ in the great booking.com rate. Some times traffic noise from the motor way (depending on direction of wind). |

I would have to say that its location & the privacy it provides were the reasons I picked up this hotel for a family get together during the Eid holiday. Not to forget the private swimming pool which provided a clean space for fun away from all this ongoing allusions about the swine-flu. What I hated the most was the level of cleanliness of swimming pool. |

The lovely details the hotel was equipped with and that it only has few rooms. The service at the restaurant - the meals were delicious, but with plastic bits on the plate and we got the wrong wine without any explanation by the waiter. |

The villa was very comfortable. It was also equipped with the latest applliance products. The menu at the steak house was faboulos and very delicious, try the bizon. The Polo field is amazing. Try also the spa Unfortunately the staff was very tired (may be from the climate) and non-cooperative |
