The staff was so fribdly
Good breakfast and dinner buffet, kitcen is good overall. The possibility to use the amenities of the nearby 5* hotel.
There is a club for locals which is rather noisy at the night. If you want to sleep, better get the room farther. Pool and tennis courts seemed to have been out of order for ages (though you can use amenities of the nearby hotel).
The location obviously, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff
The Dhafra Hotel is tired and could do with a new approach to maximise the appeal and return of this facility. The garden at the back screams to be developed!
Over priced for a 3 star hotel which boasts of a beach but asks you to use the beach and swimming pool at the next door hotel which is owned by the same company as the beach is closed and they don't have their own pool. The garden is almost dead and requires more upkeep.
Korean restaurant is the best in the Abu Dhabi. The bed is very good. The service is good and fast.
The smell of the cleaning materials are strong. The hotel requires refurbishment of carpets
Location was suitable for my trip. Staff are friendly Breakfast is good
Pictures in website are photoshoped to look much better than real. Very old building. Window ac!!!.. Old furniture and smelly corridors. Tube light in room! .. very expensive for what you get.. If it was in dubai it would probably not worth more than 150 aed per night.. Suitable for sleep if you are stuck and no other option or want to pay less for the exaggerated prices of the hotels in the area. This hotel reminded me of the 70' and 80' when I was a kid!
renovated rooms great breakfast use of facilities of the hotel next door
smell of the corridor of the rooms extra bed is not comfortable to sleep on
check in. start 2pm. I was traveling inthe morning from Dubai. Not posible to take a shower after a long drive. And checking out have to be before lunch time. After the job not posible to shower for traveling back . That service is verry poor.
The hotel ambience, friendly staff, good service.
Need some improvement in In-room dining menu.
Rooms' size was amazingly big Excellent service- helpful staff Value for money Buffet breakfast spread Location-- silence of the desert
Few things for kids to do Lesser exciting beach (smaller length) Limited dining options
Friendliness,welcome, service, food,value
Dampness,tired building needs upgrade
The staff is courteous and efficient. I've stayed at the Dhafra because the Dannat had been booked. Because the staff treats me so well, I've decided to make Dhafra my first choice in Ruwais.
The nightclub is a bit lame.
Room and the foods
Garden is waste land and pool is disused
I can't say enough about how professional and hospitable every single person on staff treated me. I was looking forward to a relaxing weekend and because of their efforts, I had a wonderful, memorable experience. I am an expat schoolteacher (American) and they made feel like royalty. I will return!
The pool was not open (though it is fall) and was a bit unsightly because it was uncovered.
Staff was very friendly & helpful. Got a free upgrade to a Junior Suite.
The beach area looked closed & not maintained.
Cleanliness, location and price
air con noisy
bathrooms lobby hated the bed window ac
Simple yet nice hotel
Price reflects a 5-star hotel. Monopoly?
Expensive for what it is, but guess there isn't much else in the area.
Comfortably Hotel Staff Food
- The hotel building is very much old - Very nice beach but unusable - Parking without sunshade
The staff are excellent - friendly, polite and good at what they do.
It smells damp. Buildings are old and rundown. Grounds look like a building site. Very overpriced.
Poor facility. Hotel quite run down
.The stuff were so friendly and helpful . The room was big and clean.
.The Avenue between the rooms was not clean and i saw some lizards outside the rooms . .I requested a special needs room but it was not available which was very difficult for my wife. . Because the hotel is old the sofa was not comfortable at all.
