Some o f the staff were really friendly.

That our bill went from an understood amount to something else. If I had known the bill would've changed, I would've changed hotels.

Location, entrance lobby.

No customer service. Too slow on room service, order takes too long to bring to the room. I have been charged on the same credit card without my permssion. I have been informed by booking.com that I will not be charged on the same credit card unless I ok it. When I put my credit card on booking. Com, it was only to hold a room. I requested an ashtray which took 2 hours to bring to the room, Internet card 3 hours till I use it. Overall, not good service and I will never again stay in the same hotel and will not advise my friends or my company to book at this hotel. Bad experince.

The rooms were nice and the staff responsive.

Location was good.

Being asked to pay to enter one of the bar/restaurants with my wife as it seemed to cater for the solo male customer and not be couple friendly.

All the towels were very bad condition.

The SPA, GYM, Beauty salon, All the folks are super nice. I like the everything about the hotel! Never had a bad stay! I will stay again!

In the bathroom you need to provide A shattaf for washing after using the bathroom .

Location, parking and staff are nice.

Internet is used by daily card with a username and a password for a 24 hour period. This is inconvenient. Also they give one card per room while two adults are in the room and each card is used by one machine.

I did stay for 2 weeks and the room rate was not fixed as I booked, it was increasing everyday.

Room size was good Cleanliness was good Food was Good.

No complimentary Internet facility.

*I did not like anything. The hotel is not clean, the staff is not cleaning very well the room, they are very slow (when I needed water for example I had to call the reception 2 times and still they arrived late), they are not very helpful, not smiling. *Employees came to clean the room in the afternoon. *Poor internet connection (but free) *noise all the time (even during night)-I think there is the ventilation system or something else that makes all the time noise *the towels smell bad!!! Once I found strange hair on one towel. *No view-in front of the window there was another hotel not a 4star hotel ! I do not recommend it (too expensive and poor services)

helpful staff and decent value

the toilets need to be cleaned properly. there was dust in the bathroom and the toilets need to be cleaned properly

staff not cooperative, and after staying 8 days in this hotel they did not care to give us late check out

The staff is excellent. I remember, in one of my earlier feedback had rated the staff poorly- but they have proven me wrong. May be that was an off day. The team at Dhow palace has made me transform my initial opinion The team of Noor, Reda, kristina, Cathy, April, Marimar (and the list goes on) are extremely warm and welcoming. It feels like a second home now. I will stay here again and again.

Rooms are great, food is absolutely superb! The concierge is spot on and this hotel is tops when it comes to arranging transportation. I've stayed here more than twice and never been really disapponted.

4:00am is a bit sleepy for the staff...on checking out, I didn't get a hotel bill nor credit card receipt for my payment.

A nice hotel located between the new and old city and about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the metro. The hotel has many restuarants on site - all are rather expensive but serve good food. The Docklands restuarant offers best value with a special on evening meals including drinks. Also has a 'pub' on site serving a wide range of beers etc. Swimming pool on the roof - size of pool is adequate and has towel loan service. Our room (Captains Suite) was spacious, clean and perfect - although it was on 4th floor which meant we suffered with traffic noise. The hotel provides a free airport trasfer service which was super efficient and appreciated - the hotel is 20 minutes from the airport by car. Overall, a very pleasing stay.

Breakfast had limited selection and was sometimes over busy meaning you could not even get a seat. Located between old city and new city which is ok once you get used to it. Taxis taken as result of hotel concierge are expensive. You are best asking for a metered taxi to be call in as they will be half the price.

Layout of hotel, some of the rooms have no sunlight. Rooms in the rear block have difficult access too.

I got overbilled when I made my reservation and I got overbilled when I checked out and had to waste my time to call booking.com to get the matter fixed twice. i will not stay at this place again

Very good location in terms of where we visited and shopped. Great value for money and excellent breakfast.

Hot water malfunctioned in the viceroy suits I managed to stay .

The duty manager when I checked in was an excellent professional. I had requested for a non smoking room which was not available but she made it a point to upgrade me and personally check the room for the presence of tobacco smell. I really appreciate her commitment to guest service.

They initially got me into a terribly small room..Later on had to push them to change it but glad they did.

Some of the staff at the counter was very rude..

Spacious suite valet parking near my office excellent egg chef at breakfast probably a better choice hotel for Indian, Russian and Japanese visitors

club room seemed to never be open some staff a little too pushy for tips breakfast staff generally indifferent aims at a younger clientele- busy bars/restaurants with live entertainnment - some might like it I found it noisy jacuzzi and kettle both needed repair
