The (classic suite)I shared with my friends was very nice for the price....

the on-going construction but as nice and comfortable the hotel was with this minor inconvenience i will look forward to staying there again after the work is done.

Nothing may be I wanted a room-make up more than once a day and couldnt get it

The staff were very efficient and helpful whenever called on.

More attention should be place in the details in the rooms where we found some amenities available but not in place.

Few things which are very bad while I stayed here and asked to extend my reservation they give us a very high rate while at the same time I got cheper rates with booking.com.The breakfast is quite expensive .

The location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy walk to metro. The breakfast was good and each day it differed slightly, so this added to the choice each morning. The hotel has seen better days, but the slightly faded glory made the place interesting. The location is great because at night you can stroll the area with the locals, have a haircut and shave, eat at numerous eating places, or shop till you drop.

Staff was friendly. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast had plenty of variety. Rooms were large and well decorated.

Pool was a bit small. Shuttle bus only went to couple of places (mostly shopping centres) and the one that went to the beach was only once a day!

Price, location and staff all good.

Had an 8pm flight and wanted to retain the room until 4pm, even offered to pay 1/2 day rate for this late check-out but was told "Not possible" - "You must vacate the room by no later than 1pm".

Not a lt to dislike, I have stayed in bigger rooms, would have prefered slightly small spoons for breakfast, another person may say different to the above but no one can say anything about the staff. Helpfull and proffessional at all times

Restaurant just OK but there are options nearby

the efficiency and friendliness of the staff, the ambient in the hotel, the room had every comfort one could wish for even with quiet good airconditioning. Bed was great and I was impressed eith the hotel <i had chosen and will gladly stay there again.

breakfast was plentiful good, however the table service had always something missing,. either cup and saucer, or plate not once did I find the setting complete.

the staff were friendly and helpful and in abundance to service every request. the location is great, very close to the al rigga metro station. the dubai 3 star rating is definately 4 star compared to australian terms. roof top pool is great.

room servicing was ok, missed fresh towels, facewashers. Breakfast is a big NO, selection of food is good however all cooked way in advance resulting in extremely poor quality food. scrambled eggs=cardboard/dry, hashbrown potatoes=soggy/dry, french stick=hard as a rock, steamed dumplings=hard crust around edges from drying out. if you are lucky wait till you see the fresh food delivered then pounce on it as this is the only guarantee it could be hot and fresh. crockery missed of tables, have to beg steal and borrow of surrounding tables. bathrooms need attendance as water leaking from the shower/bath is rotting the door frame. Girl at excursion desk(not employed by the hotel) needs etiquette lessons, knows her job however does not match the standard of expertise and presentation of the hotel staff.

The breakfast at monsoon is very average, a good variety but an average quality, other meals are tasty but they spend 30 min to prepare it

I was extremely happy with my stay at Flora Grand Hotel. A few points to mention: the price was more than reasonable and on the top of it we received free upgrade, the hotel is equipped with all modern amenities, yet the entire decor in a number of subtle ways hints at Arabic tradition, it is located very close to the metro station and divine Lebanese restaurant not to be missed (Al Safadi, Al Rigga Street). Also, I appreciated that the staff took interest in the time of our check-out and arranged our early morning airport transfer (all that was done in the evening preceding the day of our departure and at their own initiative - they called us to ask if we needed any assistance - quite a rarity even in good hotels). I am quite a picky hotel quest, still, I was fully satisfied with my stay.
