Grand Midwest Tower – Sheikh Zayed Road – Media City  

Bra service vid gym o pool. Bra med spa del, men den borde uppgraderas en aning för att hålla måttet. Trevlig och serviceminded personal generellt.

Maten. Frukosten bra. Middag höll definitivt inte måttet för det priset.

Kul med balkong vid den stora breda gatan. När man stängde baslkongdörren var det tyst. Poolområdet, lite kallt I luften I januari på eftermiddagen. Stilig entré. Jättefin frukost. Bra läge vid Metron. Bra pris. Inte så bra att deras restaurant stängde tidigt på kvällen.

Bra läge. Stor trevlig lägenhet till okay pris.

Service kvaliten var ojämn... Från super bra till att de glömde att städa rummet en dag...

Det enda som egentligen var bra var läget och storleken på rummet. Hade vi stannat längre tid hade köket varit till bra användning. Utsikt över havet.

När vi skulle checka in var inte rummet städat och klart. Incheck var kl 14.00 och vi kom dit 14.45. Vi var tvugna att vänta I lobbyn I ca 45 minuter innan vi fick rummet. I lobbyn fanns inga faciliteter som servering av et glas vatten eller te, kaffe. Rummet var inte välstädat och det var slitet och allmänt smutsigt. Det pågick underhålls arbete under frukost timmarna I samma lokal som frukosten serverades. Väldigt störande.

After our arrival - very nice gesture - for free upgraded from a studio to a big two bedroom apartment with large terace/balcony overlooking the sea, the palm island, the Burj Al Arab. Good location - appr. 3min walk to the metro station (but taxi is very cheap, so we took the metro only once just out of the curiosity), 5min walk to a supermarket. Be aware - you cant walk to the beach - you need to take a taxi (max 5min ride, depends on where you wanna go). 8min drive to Burj Al Arab/ 15 AED, to Dubai Marina / 10 AED, to Burj Khalifa / 35 AED, to the airport / 70 AED... The hotel rooms are on two sides. Facing the Palm island (quiet) & the other over a huge road (quite noisy side! even on higher floors).

The drinks provided in the room bar are so overpriced! Small orange juice 15 AED - the same you buy in the nearby supermarket for 0,85 AED! ....etc. The pool is very small. It is located on the 6th floor - no nice view, but it is clean. I cant imagine spending time by the pool. The entrance to the hotel is "funny" / somehow from the backside, through the staff corridor. But all in all it is great value hotel! I would surely recommend for lower budget stay. We stayed also in Al-Qasr & Atlantis The Palm...these are different category, but also different price range. So Grand Midwest Tower is a good choice to explore Dubai & not to spend a fortune.

The location is in new Dubai Shaikh Zayed road. New hotel. Very close to burj alarab

The rooms should be categorized into 2 types :facing shaikh zayed road(south) or facing sea side (north). This is very important because south rooms are very noisy because of traffic in Dubai main road. We had to change the room In the middle of night for that. Also on check out watch out because one of the reception must be a thief, he added 75 dirhams claiming we used mini bar. When I said we didn't use mini bar he picked the phone and pretended he is checking with someone and then he said fine we don't have to pay that.

The staff is very friendly and very helpful always a smile on their face and very fast in service. The room is very clean, hardly a finger print on the door handles and furniture is very nice, the food is good, the location is very good, a walking distance from the metro station.

Its tricky to get into the hotel due to the road constructions blocking the main entrance, the parking place under the ground is a bit hard to maneuver in, although plenty of parking spaces available. And also the tv doesn't have the mbc channels group.

Nothing was good about the hotel, I booked for 2 bedroom apartment of which was confirmed and pre payed for and when reached their I was given a one bedroom and there was a big issue about. Another thing is that u order for something and u will receive something missing. The toilets and the bedsheets has smell. The sofa chair was broken. Overall this is not a hotel that should be in Dubai

Nothing. Worst hotel and would be last in preferences for future staying and recommendations. I don't think it is worthy of even being called 2 start forget about 4 start.

Rooms were spacious and the hotel was near to Emirates mall, and jbr. It was very easy to find taxi as well. The metro station was cross street.

I would never stay at Grand Midwest again. The couches in our studio were stained and not clean, the cover sheet on the bed was stained as well. From lobby to all over the building you would smell curry. I cannot say enough how bad was the food smell in the entrance, lobby and in our room. When we arrived some of the items from mini bars were eaten. The safe was not working and it took them 1 day to fix it. When we asked for ice it took 1 hour to deliver ice to our room.Receptions were so rude and not cooperative. They asked us to pay the whole amount at once, the exchange rate was very bad and we asked them to leave our passports and deposit in order to exchange from outside. While we were out they called us couple of times; they even called our friends which they were in different room. We did not enjoyed our stay at this hotel at all and it is not 4 star hotel; definitely 3 stars.
