The rooms were clean, staff were friendly, the rate was cheap, and it was a good place to rest your head after sightseeing, overall a good stay. A few small things that were annoying but not too much of a problem. the rooftop restaurant was closed, the breakfast really wasn't great and the airport shuttle left without us, we were ever so slightly late though. |

Check-in quick and pleased with safety - my visiting friends were asked to leave id at reception (important for a sole female traveller). Breakfast buffet super and room service fairly efficient. Pool area lovely but water a little cold. Rooms spacious and very clean...bath spotless!!! Guest relations staff really helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting an economical stay with all the frills of 4 star. Only wish there had been a balcony in the room :) . The windows open but only a small way. Was difficult to turn off the a/C. The 24/7 cafe was closed 24/7 the time I was there. |

The airport pick up and drop off saved us taxi fares. We also enjoyed the shuttle to the different malls. Bottom line, we saved money on transportation to these far away places. |

Visited the beach, Dubai Mall, Musuem, highest bar. Swimming in the Hotel pool a peice of broken glass wedeged into my finger which resulted in 2 hospital visits, xrays, stitches, $2500 d and a loss of 1 and a half days in Dubai where our visit was only 3. The overall lack of friendly Reception service. Also when injuring myself in their pool I was disappointed and offended at the Mangements lack of care or interest. No compensation was offered and a glass of juice was obvisiouly supposed to fix all, very unprofessional. |

The cheap cost of this hotel reflected in the standards. I do not know where or who recommended this hotel to be a 4*, I would class it as a 2*. The 7th floor was like a disco, was very noisy until 3am every morning. The restaurant lacked essential items, and there were not enough staff to faciliate client's needs. Shabby hotel, needs refurbishment. |

Complimentary breakfast was good. Complimentary pickup/drop to and fro from Airport was apt. We didn't go for any other thing from the hotel. Hence nothing much to add here. Our purpose was to visit and see Dubai. We arranged the city tour through Holiday Inn hotel though we stayed here. |

The walls and doors were very thin. There are 2 night clubs within the hotel, basement and roof and on the 2nd floor, you could hear nothing but the loud music. The room service/elevators were outside my room and all you could hear when staff would use it is extreme loudness and banging and crashing whilst they performed their daily duties, at any time of the day. Perhaps the hotel should invest in better seals to the room and thicker doors to minimse the amount of noise being heard by guests. |

Not a lot It started badly when the receptionist insisted on holding on to my passport. Meanwhile another guest arrived and asked for his passport back. The receptionist pulled out about 50 from a drawer and asked the tourist to find his. So there was no way that I was going to let him have mine. An argument ensued. This is not the way to run an international 4 star hotel irrespective of the immigration demands of the country. I have travelled often to the UAE and have never experienced this. |
