Nice setting, staff and room. Definitely not a 4 or 5 star hotel. The rooms are not finished off to that level. Some items were broken such as curtain pulls and some wiring Also, having only one kayak available for water sport was quite ridiculous. Food was also limiting for breakfast, also not a 4 or 5 star breakfast. |

I liked the gardens and peaceful atmosphere. There was a lot of rubbish around the hotel and surrounding areas and the breakfast room was very busy and disorganised. The hotel is so large that the staff seem confused and without proper leadership from their managers. |

Nice villas. The twin beds were wide enough for 2 childred so the 4 of us could easily stay in one room. Excellent breakfast both in room dining and buffet. The pool was a little bit to cold...=D |

The setting. No change at the bars and at reception when paying...It was only 2 dirhmas, but it was ignored and no effort was made to get it for me. |

I loved the resort. Although I was only over an hour drive from Dubai I felt I was in in the middle of know where. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Loved it! Would love a cocktail menu at the pool bar. |

The warm welcome, hospitality. -Electricity power off was a little strange. -Workers were applying fresh paint, and were touching up on wood all day long through out our stay at the hotel, the smell of fresh paint and thinner was a little uncomfortable. |

It was fantastic to have such lovely accommodation with a beautiful beach and grass lawn at our doorstep. Our kids had a great time playing at the beach, then would come back to our outdoor jakuzy to play and relax. The restaurant with complimentary breakfast was very good all round and we found the staff to be pleasant, helpful and prompt. The room service food was very expensive and of a very poor standard. Also the swimming pools were too cold for us and our children to swim in. |

This brandnew Resort is a great place to be. The whole setting and architecture is extremly well done and gives you a real holiday atmosphere. It is a good mix of elegance and leisure, which automatically makes you feel home. The staff is very helpful and friendly! The pools wre not cooled and actually boiling hot in August. One of the pool is great, but has only salty water, which feels like thermalwater in this time of the year. But once the watersports center will be in operation I am sure there will be refrshing opportunities in the sea! |

Great buffet, rooms were very comfortable and clean, the staff was friendly (but not very knowledgeable). Very understaffed (employees having to do the jobs of 3+ people). There should be A/C in the pool bar for the bartenders - The men were sweating and looked disgusting with their clothes are drenched in sweat. It is not practical in a climate like UAE in the summer not to have A/C for them. Also, the pools should be chilled for the summer. |

Excellent breakfast buffet, lovely beach, relaxing location of the chalet/villa.Child-friendly atmosphere and really gets you away from the rush of the city. Having stayed in one of the chalets/villas, there was always a long delay in the service particularly from housekeeping and the transport buggies to and from the main building. If the weather was pleasant this would not have been an issue, but in 50degrees of heat, walking was not an option! |

The hotel occupies an excellent position on its own private sandy cove. Staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. The Italien restaurant 'Gusto' is excellent. Facilities in general are good and the Spa very professional. At the time of our visit construction is ongoing and some facilities were unavailable. There appeared to be a problem with the drains and our villa suffered from drains backing up and occasional sewage smells. Requesting the a la carte menu on offer in the international Maarid restaurant caused food quality / service problems making it a poor experience. Some standards were less than the 5* resort you expect from a trusted operator such as Hilton. |
