International Rotana - Abu Dhabi

The breakfast was very good! Generally the room was quiet enough to rest.And the room had a good view.

In the toilet there was no hose.

If you have a car look elsewhere. There is no parking available at any price within 1 km of the hotel.

The rooms were big enough and with an attached balcony. A pub that was open till early morning suited us as we arrived late at night. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Bathrooms were a little bit run down. Not much of an inconvenience though.

Although not on the Beach, City Bus route #5 goes from the beautiful Marina Mall to this hotel and also ends at the Abu Dhabi Mall... If you like to take inexpensive public transit, this is the place for you. Plenty of smaller shops/pharamcy/etc. right outside the hotel. The free breakfast is good, and the hotel rooms are quiet - excellent for sleeping. Great staff - ie: when I arrived late in the evening very thirsty after long flights, they readily brought me a large bottle of water and kettle within just a few minutes of checkin at no charge.

It's extremely difficult to get a taxi from this hotel unless you're willing/have time to pre-book a private car which is much more expensive, and not always available. Parking is tough as well. Note that this is an older hotel and a little musty here and there - it is not of the high level of the Rotana chain (I'm not sure it is part of Rotana) and doesn't have a fancy lobby, but the staff are very, very friendly, the beds are clean, great water pressure, quality soaps, etc.

it was a big shocked when i heard there's no parking in the hotel , even no vallet parking , i keep my car away few kilometres and to get a taxi i ve been waiting more than 45 mn , so i stand in the road to catch a taxi with no suucess only after a long time. it's very critical matter.

the hotel was noisy, specially the staff were cleaning early morning with a lot of noise. The bath was very old and was not so clean.

Great price for the room, which was very large. The breakfast was 5 star in terms of quality with both the freshness of the food and the promptness of the service.

Lack of tourist information such as the availability of maps or the free info booklets you generally find in airports or tourist information offices. I asked for a city booklet and got the last one they had.
