Hotel JAL Fujairah Resort & Spa  

This was not the first time i stay in this hotel, i enjoy the dinner BBQ on the beach side, good food and ambience, nevertheless i did prefer when they used to have a band playing instead of just recorded music.

Service was not so good maybe due to the fact that the hotel was fully booked and staff couldn't attend to everyone efficiently, at first we reached the hotel and the rooms were not ready so we had to wait for more than one hour. The room access cards not working properly, had to run to the front desk located 5 minutes away from my room twice that day in order to reactivate it because it was taking them too much time to send someone and open the door for us.

Spending time with my daughter, breakfast on the balcony over looking the ocean and just having a special time with the ambience of a lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The climbing slide and trampoline in the ocean added to our fun time together.

Not a complaint more an observation to improve services. I would recommend the availability of fresh milk with the tea and coffee in the room. Plus instant hot chocolate would be nice. Some of the water floats had tar on them and would recommend a clean periodically also to remove the green slime that accumulates on the base of the plastic.

Hotel stuff are outstanding, very friendly and helpful, rooms are new, spacious and designed really great. Breakfast is excellent. Overall we enjoyed our stay

Overall the hotel is very good, but a lot of families with little kids, so quite noisy. If you want really calm and relaxing atmosphere, ask for high floors far away from the swimming pool. Also, hotel restaurants are really overpriced...

The location of the hotel and the beach were the best.

Room Service Food: The food is not that delicious, it needs improvement. And the way it was represented was not good.

The sraff are very nice, cheerfull and very helpful.

They should improve their food quality. We ordered pork spareribs for dinner but the meat is quite tough...also, there is s certain smell in my beddings, like some indian oil or something.....but everything else is nice and wonderful.

The view was great, a prime location. A good variety of food during the breakfast buffet, on time service. Clean rooms, new modern facilities. A modern gym, small but handy for a quick workout. Great experience diving, professional instructors, friendly and warm.

No live band or music. Not so much to do during the evening, you have to drive to another hotel if you looking for some entertainment

Very good facilities: nice beach, several swimming pools, diving centre, kids club, shops, spa, etc. The hotel is also nicely designed, modern and family friendly.

The service wasn't up to standards for a 5 star hotel. The check-in was very slow despite absence of queue. We had to wait a very long time to order and get our drinks by the pool. We had also requested a baby cot that took over one hour to arrive.

The beach and pool were wonderful.

The parking situation is not good. The designer could have moved the check in area to a less dead end congested area. A horse shoe type vehicle turn around is almost universal for all hotels.

The quality of food is excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful and nothing is too much for them. We have stayed at this hotel many times before and the standard never changes, it is always a wonderful experience. Perfect location to get away from the city and relax.

The showers are not powerful enough and I did not manage to have a hot shower during our entire weekend visit - our friends who also stayed said they did not have a hot shower either - perhaps the hotel has limited the temperature of the water to be more energy efficient? This didn't detract from a lovely stay but had I been staying longer than 2 nights I would definitely have asked the hotel to look at this.

Most important point LIGHITINGs : - I was staying in the Suit & it was dark after dawn in that area, you should have more lights in the suit side. People come to enjoy the sea You should have some floodlights overlooking sea at night & on the side mountain (shutdown at 12min). Spa: Spa closes at 8pm and open at 10am, we come here to spend full day & relax & you should open it early 7am & close Spa/gym by 10pm. Pool : When we were done from sea we went to pool (opposite suits) but it was close at 6pm or 6:30pm which is too early.

very noisy from main road behind the hotel and nosiy AC. only one toilet for two rooms suite (4 people). food was very expensive with bad quality. no control on guest on the beach with almost nude swimwear. breakfast buffet poor.
