Le Meridien Abu Dhabi  

Cost wise this is a good hotel in a good location. However, it is in need of a refurbishment, The beach area is very small, however, the pools are good and clean. The lifeguards are well mannered and friendly.

I was disappointed: - Check in it took me more than 45mn because the front desk couldn't find the booking and asked me to get him a print out, I was late to my meeting - I was told that internet is included at the front desk, it was not the case - I've been told that that for the internet they'll evert back to me in tow minutes I called myself after 15mn and I've been told that it's not included - The Internet cable was not working I called the service desk they asked me to restart my laptop which is not needed I'm an IT guy when I instated they a technician who found that the plug had a problem - Right at my window people were watching a football match yelling and shouting even at 01:30 AM !! I couldn't sleep and didn't focus on my meeting the next day -

Close to many attractive location for a young couple

It is an old hotel

Friendly front desk staff, quick check in and out. Nice view off balcony. Nice bathroom.

Housekeeping knocked on door early on our day of check out to inquire what time we would check out.

The hotel is very old

Overall, the hotel was nice and comfortable and the service staff was great. It has its own beach and a great fitness center. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is the center of Abu Dhabi and not far from all shopping malls.

Room was smelly

The hotel is old but renovated, the room is fine and matches Le Meridien Standard. The hotels contains lots of restaurants with a wild variety of cuisines.

Internet is very expensive. And since reservation done through Booking.com I was not allowed to have loyalty point.

Easy access and relaxable Turkish bath

Great pool area for small kids and lovely garden area with a selection of restaurants.

Room service table not removed all day.

Staff at the reception is excellent, very efficient and well trained. I requested late check out, they simply confirmed the time with me and that was all. In some other hotels they would charge you for late check out! Girls at the Health Club reception also great. Hotel is 30 years old, a bit old-fashioned designed, but still very charmy and in good condition. The price of the room was good value for money.

Gym equipment is old and not maintained well, should be replaced. Lifeguards are not happy to help, they get annoyed if you just ask them to move sunbed for you.... Food is overpriced, so I didn't eat at the hotel.
