Mercure Gold Hotel Al Mina Road Dubai  

Location

1.Beds are of kids size,legs are hanging for a standard 5'8'' person. 2.Bad smell from toilet,yellow spot in comode. 3.Front desk fails to cancel pre authorization amount,took long time without success.

Very helpful staff who welcomed me with kindness and who made up my room early when I arrived sooner than check in time. I appreciated this very much as I was in desperate need of sleep! My room was spacious and luxurious. Two small bottles of water everyday were complimentary: very useful in a such a hot country.

The porter ignored my clear request for a city taxi to the airport and repeatedly insisted I consider the private taxi which would have been almost twice the cost. It took patience and persistence for me to secure the taxi I wanted.

the hotel located in a good location, 10 to 15 mins drive to all the important place such as airpot, beach, dubaimall goldsouq, etc. very spacious room and friendly staff, value for money.

Quality of room fixture and close proximity to important sites in Bur Dubai.

I think slow room service and house keeping response due to shortage of staff due to low season time of our stay.

Very good location, you could go nearly every where in Dubai by Taxi from this hotel for £5 or maximum £7.

I like the amenities that the hotel has, its location to Dubai Mall and the Burj and the fact that it is close to a main thoroughfare with other shops and eating places

No free wifi in room, staff didn't add points to my Le Club Accorhotel account for my stay despite the fact I reminded them that I am a member on check-out.

I dont even know, may be rooftop swinning pool and a spa. BAr staff Mr Siid, nice and friendly, pool area staff Janith. Cool guys and service.

I dont like some staff in reception, especially evening shift, they dont know the manner of speaking to guests, please tell them to speak with their friends like that, not with guests. Only Ms Anna and Ms Reena are ok and friendly. I lived in room 447 with a cockroach in the bathroom , is it 4 star hotel?? The meal, first day when I ordered burger the meat was dry, next day I ordered spagetti bolognese, I wouldnt say it is a bolognese, salty with some kind of tomato sauce. I asked for an ashtray, they brought the ashtray with 2 finished cigarettes inside, very nice. I travell a lot to many countries, I never lived in like that 4 star hotel, the 3 star is better than this, I mean about cleanless, meal and communication with guests in front desk. The hotel of its own is ok. So I wouldnt vist it again, never. But Thanks anyway. It happens

The layout and the size of the room is very functionable. Low rise building. A 24 hours coffee shop on site.

Location is far from metro. Must solely rely on Taxi. The choice of breakfast is limited.

This hotel had everything you could need for a great stay. We arrived at three in the morning and were greeted with great service.

Good location. Near enough to the city centre for taxi ride but away from the noise. Large bedroom. Bathroom with a full size bath and separate shower.

Service at reception very slow. Check in took far too long and the room still was not prepared with the necessary extra bed. Breakfast was very expensive and not good value for money.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking facilities were easy and free. The room was clean and well sized. I have paid a lot more for a lot less at other hotels. Didn't eat breakfast but the choice of food looked good.

No wireless internet in the rooms. Although there is a cable this didn't fit my laptop so had to go down to the lobby to work online.

Frankly, it was one of the best hotels i visited, very friendly staff, great services/rooms.

Location was okay if you have a hired car only. Near the beach.

Breakfast was too expensive £15 per person, food quality was not value for money! :( also they charged extra for 1 person who was not having breakfast. Beauty spa was over priced. Swimming pool was small. Parking at front of hotel was a problem we got fined £30 for leaving our hired car at front.

The staff were excellent, and the standard of the rooms, and facilities was excellent. The shuttle bus service to the beach and shopping malls was an added treat.

Nothing to dislike, had a great stay.
