The executive lounge staff were helpful and attentive. The beds and the room were comfortable and very clean. The complimentary shuttle service was not so complimentary as a 120 dhs charge is made per head to visit the sister hotel on Jumeriah beach, it is too much if you only want to visit the hotel without using the beach facilities there. |

Nice hotel, luxurious image. Nice personel, good location. "Superiour room" wasn't really 5-star quality and a bit small. 10 euro per hour for internet was also too expensive (other hotels offer it for free). The breakfast was not included and costed 18 euro per person extra. |

Your staff is very friendly always smiling , location is good concerning city malls and distance from airport .The hotel is clean and contains nice views . We had no access to a window that can b opened or to a balcony which stopped me from smoking inside the room cos no way to let fresh air inside . My room was 617. |

honestly i had a very bad experince with my family the rooms was very cold and no way to control the A.C. the reception at the gate is very poor because they let us carry our bag our selves. the breakfast is nothing comparing to a 5 star hotel |

We stayed 5 days in Dubai at the end of 2009. What we liked about the hotel was the possibilty to take the shuttle bus to the partner hotel at the beach (Habtoor Grand Resort & Spa) although you have to pay 120 Dirham to get access to the pool area and beach. All in all I would say the Metropolitan Palace Dubai is a nice and very clean 4+ star hotel with an excellent cost-benefit ratio. I would not recommend the breakfast at the hotel (breakfast was not included in the room price and we had to pay an additional 90 Dirham per person and day) since you can get a very nice meal in any restaurant in Dubai for the same price. |

Good location of the hotel (between Al Rigga and Union square metro station) in Deira business district of Dubai. Very expensive restaurants in the hotel - on the other hand on Al Rigga road there is plenty of much cheaper ones (within walking distance 5-10 minutes). If it's true, that there is a huge crisis in Dubai, why are in hotels so expensive?? |
