No wireless internet. Very bad room service. Small Bathrooms. Refregerator is not working. Staff. Old Toilets and sinks.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Had live music Thursday and Friday night. Beautiful lobby.

Pool closed at night. A little ways from downtown Dubai. No pork or alcohol in the Sharjah area.

Locatio was very good- right on the corniche. Turn left out of the hotel, after a 5 min walk there is a nice coffee shop/ restaurant called Berlin. Turn right out of the hotel and walk 20 mins, there is a free fountain and music show in the lagoon at night. You can also see it from the hotel, but it's a bit far away.

Room was musty when we arrived. We had a view of a half- built skyscraper and car park. Shower was warm, but not quite hot enough when we arrived. Breakfast was expensive. Wifi was expensive. For parking, we had to park on the street and pay at the metre, then register in the hotel, then go back out and park in the carpark as it works on the door card. Overall, too many small problems.

The building was nice one! the stuff could be more friendly. if you want to spend your time in Dubai and not in Sharjah then consider the traffic of highways you can spend an hour in the traffic.

The breakfast could be better considering the high price.

1- Very Expensive 2- telephones Expensive ( 2 minutes international calls fro AED 37) 3- Food quality is not 5 stars 4- No newspapers 5- I found out that there were several hotels in teh same area for 1/2 price 6- The whole hotel should be rated 3-four star, only teh prices are more than five stars. 7- recreation area not working (no Jacuzzi, Steam was out of order for ever)

A very grand lobby area with pianoists

There was a transition to a new computer system and it was chaos. We didnt get our adjoining rooms which was ridiculous as my kids are small. We were nearly charged for 800+ aed for Lunch when we took Dinner and it was for aprox 460 aed. We had to produce our hardcopy receipt as the reception did not even have a copy of the Dinner receipt.The first floor we were given smelt badly in the corridors of cigarette smoke although it clearly stated no smoking.They wanted to charge us for internet facility when we didnt even use it

They only had wi-fi in the lobby there is no wi-fi in the rooms

I would give it 4 or 3 stars with what I say and experience in my staying

The only reason for choosing this hotel was because my office was situated within walking distance of the hotel, however the hotel needs serious improvement ! for the price we pay atleast free wifi is expected.

Friendly staff and excellent housekeeping personnel.

My reservation was for 2 sea view rooms but I only got 1 sea view room because there was non available 2nd one as I have been told.

The location is very good

The housekeeping was not well. It took long time to check-out due to shortage of manpower in reception. I requested brake fast room service. It was no verity and little expensive.

I searched for hotels in Dubai near the airport, this hotel is in Shargha which costs at least 50 AED to go anywhere in Dubai !

I really liked the fact that it is not ultra modern. This is very personal but I like hotels that are not like every where else. This hotel has a charm that I think could be marketed. If it was kept as it is (with upgraded food etc) it could trade on the niche market to people who like to stay in places that are comfortable with their unique design. The staff were wonderful. The guy servicing the rooms on the 15 th floor was so kind and helpful. Hassan, the Front Office Manager was above and beyond helpful. Anna P was charming.

I think the food needs some attention - the breakfast buffet was not up to the standard that I would expect from Hilton. Perhaps this will change when Hilton takes over.
