The room is spacious. Staff is kind , friendly and helpful. Fabulous views from hotel room window

I asked a power adapter from reception. They said yes. But it never came.. No parking lot for guests in the facility.

1. the bed was appearing to be a king size bed, but actually it was twin bed merged together and was very uncomfortable. 2. I left at 7 pm to have dinner and i kept the (prepare my room) Tag hanging on my door. i came back to find that no one gave a ****. The room & the bathroom were still at the same without any changes.

Good staff and attentive but not intrusive

It's on the Corniche, which lines the sea side. Moved out in 1.5 days, and checked in to the Sheraton Khalidiya, which is amazing, and not too far away from the Corniche. I'm in a suite in the sheraton right now, typing in a review as I look at the sea.

Nothing. We took up an executive suite following a discounted deal from Booking.com and it was still aed 550 (incl. Taxes) per day without internet. Pricey for the following reasons- 1. Rooms are old, tasteless, poor decor 2. Couches, chairs, tables, beds are a blast from the past.. in a bad way 3. Smelly lobby, floors and rooms 4. Internet speed was 30 kB/s despite costing nearly 100 AED per day!! 5. Staff are nice people, but clueless. Probably because of lack of training 6. Food - Better off chewing on paper, rubber, etc.

It was a bad expreience by all means

There were bed bugs. I paid for the internet connection which was optional in spite that I did not use it I paid for breakfast that I did not consume due to early check out because of bed bugs.

Our stay at the Oryx was decided by the price offered on a booking website. It was listed as 4 star Hotel and we found the Hotel exceeded our expectations in most ways. The rooms were spacious and luxurious and staff very friendly and helpful and we would happily recommend the Oryx Hotel to others.

This may seem minor to most but in deciding on a hotel a gym will always sway us, sometimes over the price. The gym is this large hotel was small and the cardio equipment was very old and not operating that well.

Abu Dhabi is known for Luxury hotels, with the price we paid our room(standard double) is in a high level.

If you are booking thru this website (uk), better to pay hotel via this website using Sterling pounds. We paid ours in the hotel when we arrived,the conversation to dirhams is quite low. We paid more :( The DAY shift front desk receptionist and concierge doesn't know much about the city?? I gathered from abu dhabi airport website that they got a luggage drop-in service in the CITY TERMINAL. I asked the staff, they don't know where the city terminal and about its service??? If you are thinking of visiting Abu Dhabi, do your own research first,dont rely on hotel staff. You can drop off your luggage for early checkin at CITY TERMINAL abu dhabi airport, for 30dirhams per person.

Hot water was cold, bathroom grubby, staff not very attentive and did not do what they promised at reception. (I.E. Sir we will send that to your room, they did not)
