good price, convenient for a quick stay.

There were no carpets on the floor in the exec suite, only in the bedroom. also the time needed to deliver orders was too long. location and parking is also an issue

I think our stay at Oryx Hotel was very comfortable. We enjoyed our time and do encourage others to go and visit the hotel in case if they want to get value of their money.

I stayed with my girlfriend at room 1505 from 4 to 6 may...it was a wonderful holiday and nice people in the hotel...we would like to come back soon! great position near to the beach, supermarket, arabian fook restaurant and corniche road...it is a very relaxing place!!

we were on the Executive NON smoking floor, 11th floor and it reeked of smoke.It was so bad at 5am when a bunch of people lit up together-I nearly threw up.There were no comforters on our bed-we slept underneath sheets. Why do you only have one person working the front desk?It takes forever to check in and out.

Very supportive staff

I chose your hotel because it has a pool but closing it at 5pm is very limiting given I sometimes arrived back from work after it closed. This policy should be more flexible to accommodate guests needs.

The reception staff were lovely, very helpful and supportive. The It technician also very helpful, quick service. Room service, food excellent and service timely.

The floors not sound proof, so could heard people walking above with shoes on.

One of the worst hotels in the uae

Poor staff and does not have any level of customer service specially the reception desk. I requested her to call the manager, she said no manager available, I left him a message to call me back and he never did. When I called again he said will follow up and call back and no one ever did, I followed up the next day the guy on duty apologized and said will check with his manager and call back and never did again. I lost interest and ignored it. I don't recommend this hotel to any visitors to the uae keeping in mind the hospitality you find anywhere else. Definitely not a 4 star hotel in any standards.

I loved the location and it was comfortable.

The room was really dirty when we got there, but we were too tired to ask to clean. Also, when we asked to get the room cleaned the next day they didn't. The bathroom sink was always backing up and the bathroom in general is too old. It needs to get re-done.

The worst hotel i've seen in my life.

1- Staff does not have any level of customer service specially the Receiption lady (moroccan). As I reserved non-smoking room and insist to have it once I chick-in, she said we don't have. Which available we gave them already for other people. 2- I requested her to call the manager, she said no manager available, and when i start shouting her, the manager came and he said will upgarde your room to suit. 3- Once i enter to the suit, i saw other people luggage and stuff and i went back to them, and the same lady did not apology for mistake. 4- then they gave me another suit, which the room was dirty. 5- Booking.com states parking is available for free, how ever, the visitor should search himself for parking. I don't advaise anybody to go to this hotel as it does not deserve 4 stars, 1 star is more than enough for it.

I came for the abu dhabi triathlon and the hotel was very near the event site. Hotel price was very affordable.

The extras are expensive

Location and offer to valet park car for free due to local night residence parking only.

Arrived to find hotel had overbooked despite calling me in the morning to confirm my booking which I made 3 months in advance for an event. Didn't find an appropriate replacement. Said Manager was on way, but he never arrived. Had already charged my credit card the day before. Worst of all, lied to Booking.com - they asked me to cancel so they wouldn't be exposed as not honouring my booking, and told b.c that I had rejected the room (bit hard, when I never even got past reception). At least they refunded my money... but not good enough!

Staff could not get the rooms ready for customers as they allowed customers from the previous night to extend their stay, therefore the hotel could not honour the bookings The shower in the bathroom was dirty and the tiles really needed to be replaced. I had booked a suite but was only given a standard room as this was all they had available.

We asked for non smoking room and the sheets still smelled like smoke. The Shower was dirty and not maintained.

-no shuttle from the airport -the bathroom looked a bit old and a bit worn - the room was not very sound proof, could hear everything what was going on outside the door.

The hotel is presented as a 4-star hotel. Having visited more than 2000 hotels in my travel time, I have never been presented with such dirty hotel as this. We had the suite, and it had not been cleaned for a long time. Coca-cola on tables so they were so sticky that you almost got stuck when laying hand on it. Floors so sticky noice came from walking. Dirty floors that had not been vacuumed for ages. All in all - my worst hotel experience ever. The reception personel was exceptionell unpleasant and inpolite. I was kept waiting 10 min. For the manager at check-out - "HE was PRAYING" - I was told.

Staff are amazingly nice, sweet and helpful.. Nice big rooms, with great service..

Laud noises, even when the room next to you closes the door; you feel they closed your door!! You can even hear the heels and people walking outside your room, which was really irritating for me, I hated it.. If you are like me, who likes relaxing quiet places, this is a totally NO, will I go there again!!?? I don't think so, unless they do something about these toy walls they have.
