Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek  

We had a short stopover in Dubai on our way back home and after much searching decided to stay at the Radisson Blu. We choose the Royal Creek room as it seemed great value for money as your airport transfers, breakfast, afternoon tea and happy hour in the evening was included. We were not disappointed. On arrival, the friendliness of the staff was evident straight away. We were upgraded to a suite, which was a lovely gesture and the room was fantastic - coffee machine, bathrobes, walk in wardrobe, big comfy bed etc. The location of the hotel is by the creek which may not suit people who would prefer to be near a beach, but the metro station is behind the hotel, which was very convenient and has a direct line to all the major attractions. The overriding memory of the hotel, is it's wonderful hospitality and service of the staff.

Good facilities, pool, gym and restaurants. I asked for an early check in and was upgraded when my room was not ready. Friendly staff who are always willing to help. Centrally located in Dubai.

Don't like having to produce my room key every time I use the elevators

The mainly Indian house keeping staff were excellent and very friendly.

I feel I was conned into upgrading to a premium package including access to the club where afternoon tea and pre dinner drinks were served. This option proved to be poor value. The quality of room was poor by Dubai standards. I found it strange that the porters determined the price to be paid for a taxi. When arranging my own taxi I realised they inflate the fares by about 70%.

the hotel was open in 1975!! kinda old style but still clean...i dont think it is good for families coz the bars in the lobby r full of prostitutes

Will not recommad for my others freinds

I have booked two rooms for 4 night and extended for 9 more nights, but due to the defferrent cost changes and the resception poor personality I check out it and moved to anather hotel (Hilton Creek), and now we are staying here.

I liked the services

the furniture looks old and my housband started to sneeze whenever we enter the room ,& he gets o.k when he outside . the fridge was closed by a tape I donot know if we romove it they will charfe us or not but what if we want to keep our bottle of water inside? the wireless signal is not good enough الاثاث يبدوا قديما وزوجي كان يعطس بمجرد الدخول للغرفة ويتوقف لدى الخروج منها الثلاجة كانت مغلقة بشريط مما منعنا بأن نحتفظ بعلبة الماء فيها خوفا من ان يتم احتساب مبلغ علينا كانت اشارة الانترنت اللاسلكي غير قوية

Although the Radisson is one of the older 5 star hotels in Dubai it has an excellent level of service. The staff are polite & very attentive, there is also a great choice of restaurants available. Very good location in relation to the Airport & the centre.

Good hotel to experience the old part of Dubai around The Creek. Lovely views of The Creek from all rooms. Its worth paying a little extra to get access to the club lounge for afternoon and evening snacks with happy hour from 6pm to 8pm. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Good size pool and excellent gym.

Great hotel. I enjoyed every bit of it. All the staff were very friendly and professional. The array of restaurants in one roof gives this hotel a clear advantage over the others.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfasts were very nice with a huge selection to suit all tastes. We would recommend the La Moda resturant food was outstanding and very reasonable. Unfortunatly we were there during the month of Ramadan and so not all the attractions were open especially the piano bar.

The staff were excellent and very attentive. The room was very clean and and as advertised, we had a view of the creek.The swimming pool was of an excellent standard with a life guard on duty at all times. The breakfast was very good and we also dined at the English pub located in the hotel. Again the quality and presentation was of a high standard. The location is good if you want to take a creek dinner cruise and the hotel in fact has its own boat. The Union metro station is no more than 300 meters away and as a junction station it allows you to travel to all parts of the metro. We booked out at 5am and the reception staff were all on board and we took a hotel car to the airport at a reasonable cost.

We were upgraded to Royal Club and we loved it!

Dinner at the Fishmarket was unexpectedly expensive!
