Reasonable stay Food is very good

The reception did charge me two times. Then when they check the papers they revert the charges. This shows they were not aware of the papers.

The swimming pool

The staff are dealing in an inapropriate way They dont clean the room even if you ask for it The life guards are not around the swimming pool most of the time The room is for two people and they only put one toothbrush and no enough shampoo or soup They didnt change the towels for 2 days although we said to them that the towels are wet since the first day

All staff very frendly

Towels were nice and clean. Restaurant people were nice and cooperative. Reception staff were also so nice and cooperative. No confusion of reservation made though it was made on line.

The stay was not good for value for money. I paid aed 600/- per night twin bed but it should not have been more than aed 300/-. There was no water or glass in the room. There was no facility to prepare a tea in the room. No news paper provided. The room door was not working properly when checked in.

Sauna, Swimming pool, decent breakfast for the price, central location. I stayed overnight for RAK half marathon. Would recommend this hotel as it is quiet.

Bed was horribly uncomfortable and incredibly small. No kettle in room? Whats that about?

Location to Marathon was good. Pool good size and usable, well priced.

Nice complex with old-world charms. Very friendly staff, two dining options in-house plus a bar (soft drinks only) with nice views. Very good value if booked through this site!

Room Service: I ordered for Sea Food including Lobster and came without it, they replaced it by hamour fish. When I complained they apologized that it was not available, but they should inform me and then I decide. Also, I ordered for ice cream and after a while they called and apologized that it is not available. The Hotel should be reinovated.

Dears The hotel was totally below our expectation following our note :- 1. Hotel rooms was not as it was shown in advertisement pic in web. 2. Chairs of rooms was totally uncomfortable. 3. Jacuzzi was not working, we asked for maintenance it was not fixed. 4. Breakfast food was below standard. 5. amount which was shown in booking.com was diffrent from amount which we paid for hotel they said differ in exchange rate.

Conveniently located and very friendly service. Good buffet meals. Relaxing environment.

Outdated and old furniture style in room. Water had sulphur odor and faint brown color at times.

Hotel

We stayed over on a Friday night the Arabic live band was fantastic. The pool was temperature controlled (30˚C) which was a good thing as the weather was a bit chilled. The breakfast was a simple spread of Veg and Non-veg Indian, Arabic, and Continental food. The rooms were clean and spacious enough for an extra bed for my 13 year old, while my 6 year old had to sleep between us on a double bed. The A/c wasn't a problem since it's winter, I wonder how it would perform in peak summer. Enough parking around with the property. Wi-Fi is free in the lobby, but you have to pay AED 20/hr (AED80/day) to have it in your room. We basically wanted a cheap hotel with pool on the beach (but there is no beach front, like we thought when we saw the map&photos).

There is a marriage hall with the complex which, as we learnt, is usually booked over the weekend, and that played loud music. We had to complain to the reception and they immediately moved us to the road facing side of the hotel where the sound was felt less. There are no pool attendants, so you cannot leave your kids unattended for a minute. The carpeting in the corridors and rooms is bit old, so it feels stuffy. and has a typical moist smell. The doors open with the old-fashioned key system, not cards. The safe-deposit box is not user-friendly. The TV channels are only Arabic (NileSat), so no english entertainment/news channels. The Arabic restaurant with live music hadn't got even one waiter who could speak English so we couldn't explain that we didn't want cheese in our Saj Zatar.

The hotel is very "tired" and needs a face lift. However you only get what you pay for. The minute you are given a key to your room it gives you a clue to what you are in for. The general facilities and exterior amenities are fantastic; the place just needs livening up. The "old fashioned" astmosphere could work to its advantage as business travellers get bored with everything being similar. It just needs a freshen up.

We stayed in Room # 207. It had a very bad odour The Ac vents were full of dirt and I believe the smell was coming from the AC.

The Hotel is not a four star hotel and the room comfort is that of 2 star in Europe or usa
