If you like sports the sports bar is really convenient Two restaurant options of Chinese and Indian we pretty good for this type of hotel. The gym and pool area is small but there is never anyone there so its quite with no kids If you want female company it is available if you go to the 1st floor club Spinneys supermarket is walking distance The metro stop Al Fahidi is right in front which makes visiting different places very easy. So you basically have everthing youn may need in a small convenient hotel !

Booking .com should include free internet during your stay as part of the price even if the price is slightly higher.

Central location with friendly staff

They have a night club full of Russian, Ukrainian and other women and any of them goes with you for money

Room is not clean, I ordered a double size bed they got me to single beds and combine them together

Derek Croll, the General Manager, is an industry professional who knows how to take care of his guests. I received a very warm greeting from him and his reception team. Indeed all members of staff were friendly and efficient throughout my stay. There was only one occasion when I needed to complain, about too much salt in the steak & kidney pie, and this was handled to my entire satisfaction by the Asistant f & b Manager. Once again Derek Croll had his finger on the pulse and personally appologised. I always enjoy staying at the Regal Plaza. I spend about six months a year in hotels and this is one of my favourite. Thank you Derek!

The lack of a Lounge with sofas and armchairs where guests can sit and relax. The buffet breakfast could be more varied and interesting, with a little more attention to the tastes of Western guests. Also, breakfast starts at 7am and those arriving later (say after 9am) will find that a few items, especially the fresh fruit platter, are not replenished unless requested.

This hotel has something to please everybody, a rare quality in a budget hotel. Several quiet restaurants for families, a quality sports bar and a popular nightclub for singles, and yet clean & quiet rooms with free internet. All this at a budget price in a good location next door to the underground metro.

Fussy families with young ones might not like the fact that the entrance lobby is common for both - families & clubbers. You might also want to specify a quiet room at the back of the hotel if you are a light sleeper.

I was upgraded to a suite ...for the same high price

Expensive, Room floor was very dirty (in the suite), otherwise very nice. No internet available despite best efforts and no one to help with it. The room attendant was trying but clearly he knows little about I.T troubleshooting. At least he tried... others promised and never turned up and I was left behind with my work due to lack of connectivity.

I only stayed for one night but the room was spacious and clean. Free wi-fi was very useful. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.Good location for walking out. Better suited for Business travellers and those who need a lively stay,

Management should look to modify the hotel entrance so that you don't have to carry suitcases up steps. A ramp is needed and would also provide wheelchair access.

The Room was Very Good....

I stayed at a High floor, it was quite. They give guests free access to the night club. On top of all I felt they pay extra attention to Booking.com clients and give them special treatment. The location of the hotel is the best of all, Al Fahadi Metro station is just 10 meters from the hotel entrance, you have shops and 24/7 supermarket 2 minutes walking distance.

Internet not free and pricy. Bathroom quite old.

Location,, next door to metro,, shoping plaza, food everything is near by. Price and staff is excellent. this is my second time staying there. i will stay here in future.

the staff are very rude and never keep their words...i ordered electricity outlet adapter 3 times and they always says they have it but they never bring it all...they reception staff are the most arrogant people i have met in my life except Ahmad he was great...
