Seashell Inn Hotel  

Just the location of the hotel. It is very close to Meena Bazaar, a large shopping area with many small restaurants.

1. Rooms are rather small 2. Internet is not free. Rest is ok ...

A - situate : The exact location of the hotel is an important issue to consider, and one can book in this hotel without hesitation. It is very near to all you want to shop or to see or to dine. To erything it is near. B. CHECK IN : I entered the hotel exactly at 4.30 am on sunday 06.03.2011, and it took me just 5 minutes to enter my allotted room. it was just amazing. C. STAFF: The good about the hotel lies on the staff service, which was quite warm. whenever i need a thing or help they are quite good to respond quickly. D.CLOSE : I will stay again in the hotel in my next visit and i will strongly recommend to my friends and relatives who want to visit DUBAI

Al bad : only two bad situations. A. BATH TUB in the wash room: The wash room is ok, but not the bath tub. there was a hole in the down portion of the tub, and the water was flown out during the bath. and if we want to fill the tub and take a dip in to tub, i hope we cant. while using the shower itself the water was flowing out from the tub, and if we fill the tub what could be the seen in my room no 415. hotel management has to look into the repairing part of the tub particularly in 415. B.AIR PORT TRANSFER: we found Mr BABY from the hotel , holding the placard writing our name and another guest name at the entrance to pick us to the hotel . Surprisingly he asked us to wait in the opposite lounge since he came to the airport to pick another passenger also. It sounds us differently and then we just told him why we need to wait for another passenger to join when iam paying huge amount for pickup from airport. immly he talked to the hotel and on hotel instructions ( seems ) took us to the hotel without waiting for another passenger. It was just 10minutes drive from the airport to the hotel. we liked their spirit but not like the car through which we have been transferred from airport. It was not a 5 seater car, but a 8 seater. I request management to look into the sending of 5 seater ( incl driver ) and not a temp traveller, since they are charging AED 65, instead of AED 20 ( this is the fare if you travel by a private taxi) ofcourse paying of AED 65 is ok, as somebody has to wait for us at the greeters lounge in the early mornings, by saving our time in finding a private taxi. so charging of AED 65 is maintainable , but not the size of the car sent for pickup. Hope management look into this issue also. Apart from the above, the hotel was located at convenient place, and can enjoy the stay in SEASHELL. no issues about the hotel. just amazing.

Hotel good value for money ! Room quite big, soundproofed, very clean, bed quite comfortable and big. Bathroom is ok, with a good replacement of soap, shampoo... Which is not all the time the case ! The staff is nice and quite helpful. The area is not too bad, very close from the underground (10min by foot), 12 dirham by cab to go to Jumeirah beach and around 10-15 from the airport (20 dirhams by cab)

Internet is not free, a bit hard to find nice and clean restaurants near the hotel, only one or two... Breakfast is mainly arabic which is understable due to the mainly arabic costumers, but the dishes of the buffet were disgusting even if the restaurant staff tried to change the buffet everyday... Still no good products !

Staff was very cordial and helpful. Location is not the most scenic, however, it is close to all common nessecities. Hotel was clean and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was very good.

Only complain is the charge for wifi. I believe it would be a nive touch to include in the price.

I booked a room according to the picture that is available on booking.com. However, I got a smaller room and the receptionists are no helpfull

The location was in the middle of a run down area, where all of the indian and pakistani workers hang around outside. There was an indian nightclub in the hotel which played really loud hindi music until the early hours of the morning. This hotel was definitely not a 3 star, I would say 2 or even 1. The hotel rooms were old, even the air conditioning unit rattled constantly even when switched off, could do with refurbishment.

There was absolutely nothing good to say about this hotel. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay the night at Sea Shell Inn as there are plenty of hotels in Dubai which offer better services at the same cost.

The power outlets didn't work. The staff took for to bring a blackberry charger. The dental kit wasnt present in the room. When the bar is closed even cigarettes weren't available. When decided to get them next morning, it wwsnt possible as the bar was closed! The last time I'd every stay in sea shell inn.

No safe in room. No airport transfer no tea/cofee making facilities in room.

The only great thing about this hotel is the location. Staff were very helpful and courteous. It was easy to grab a taxi for anywhere in town. Standard rooms are ok, bur the so-called "executive" room was very much below standard for the price.

We booked an "executive" room and was very disappointed especially with the price we were charged. The room seemed to have been unoccupied for a long time! Complimentary bottles of water were available only on checking in, and were charged for on other days.. No information was given as to availability of WiFi (not free!) Breakfast was reasonable but a real "bazar" with loud and greedy customers!! We requested room service for breakfast as we arrived early morning. We were told that we should have breakfast on the Mezzanine floor Restaurant!! Having stayed there a few times I would recommend breakfast as early as possible to avoid rowdy clients. I would also recommend avoiding "executive room"!!
