Grand hotel entrance and very good service from staff in general. Very attentive at ground floor coffee area and nice touch with the piano player. It was rather quiet and lacked atmosphere at times. |

Rooms are big, clean & quite. I also liked the Indian restaurant in the ground floor. While having dinner at the Indian restaurant (ground floor), the speakers of the Indian music was very loud. It was so loud that you can't hear the person who sit in front of you. |

The size of the rooms is excellent, the rooms are well appointed and the bathroom is great with a large shower area and powerful shower. The hotel lobby is a nice place to relax and have afternoon tea The staff working on reception during the night are rude and not helpful unlike the staff working during the day |

Great rooms, good rooftop pool one can actually swim in, good free parking, great staff. You even have a balcony. The breakfast was unacceptable. Restaurant is much too small. You had to wait each morning about 10 minutes till a table was available. Most persons who waited had to stand in line as even not enough chairs were made available for the persons waiting for breakfast. |

I, Ahmed Aboobaker arrived on the night of the 26 September 2009. One of your staff, a woman was rude and unaccomodating. She requested that we pay extra. We were returning from Saudi and stopped over as we love Dubai, so our daughter syated at friends, not your hotel. We are disappointed as she exchanged a few nasty words and said we should have choose an alternative hotel. I would not want this nasty incident to be repeated as we had budgeted our trip since we were returning from Saudi. Excluding the ladies bad attitude at front desk all else was well. We have always stayed at TAj in the past and hope that this will not be repeated. |
