Well, the best thing to say to describe this hotel is : " I've been to a better hotels!!!!! " Poor transparency, staff need training, and poor service. The location is the best thing to look at when booking.... Booking.com says that "no deposit will be taken and you'll pay at the hotel" well!! Its totally not true. The hotel took a deposit from my credit card and and they asked me to pay in cash also !!! so, I stayed for one night and payed for two. Now its more than 2 weeks and nothing returned to me. When I called to the hotel they said "the refund process will take 45 days !!!!" I won't recommend this hotel at all !!!!!!!! the internet is charged, not as described at booking.com!!!!!

great location and property. I would say such a pathetic rooms, i have never seen any of such rooms in my traveling & Staying experience .i stayed in a classic king room, when reached the hotel itself they told us to wait as the customer has not vacated the room, I have confirmed my stay day before the arrival day. I came with my wife n 10 month old baby and that too for a day. and they couldn’t confirm that when the customer will vacate , I raised my concern and suddenly another staff came to me and somehow got me a room. and when reached the room it was full of dust, it was disgusting room. i would say front desk staffs are not at all professional. the property is good, other staff n also good. overall my experience was bad I came to celebrate my wedding anniversary. I will be posting this feedback on all traveling websites.

Lovely place to have a break and enjoy the great sea of Ras Al Khaimah. We booked a standard room but got upgraded to the upper level of a villa. The suite had a great view (lake + sea) and was very clean. There was a lady at the reception who checked us in had a very rude and arrogant attitude towards us, clients, and towards her own colleagues. We got very shocked by such unexpected manners in a 5 stars hotel. But the rest of the team that we dealt with was very welcoming and helpful. The only problem was the shower from which the water was going out very easily. We were disappointed also not to find a bath tub.

Nice product and excellent arrangment for our annivesary Staff are exhausted to inform you with the full facilities and assisting starting from check in and on the beach outlet . They need to be trained with the system " PMS " as upon check in Haitham wasn't aware that my reservation is non refundable and i've been charged in advance and accordingly he was insisting to take copy of my CC for the room charges and extras " not extras only ". F&B "outlets timing" as 3 of the waiters informed me with 3 different closing time. Room service - order taker was informing me that he has a busy operation and the deleivery time will be delayed due to that reason " it seems they are overloaded and no staff available to assist .

The fact of having a small villa with its own privet swimming pool, the ease of check-in and out , the small battery trucks used for transportation within the resort and the kids loved it . Rooms were not up to expectations. The furniture looked to be some of the cheapest stuff just shoved in there . The floors had no carpets or even just a small one which made the rooms look completely naked . The lights are so dim evevn if all are turned on. Kitchen without any dishes or pans for anyone who wants to do a little cooking but cooker , fridge and water boiler available. Transportation is done by small trucks or walking so it's always calls for a pickup service which sometimes means a wait . Location wise , in order to go to the city from the resort, you need to drive almost one kilometer to find a roundabout and turn back. Overall it's still the best the area has to offer

The rooms are small and overpriced, we requested a view that we did not get, when we questioned this and asked to move we were told there was nothing to be done and nothing was offered in the way of compensation - the staff were very unhelpful. The food is average and the rooms smelt musty. The cleaner came to our room twice after he had cleaned the room and informed us he had cleaned it and stood standing for a tip! Very rude. We were also charged 114 dirhams for the mini bar which we did not touch, we had to fight to get this taken off our final bill. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Villa was not ready at check in time, 1st room got ready at 16:30, 2nd room got ready at 17:30 and pool cleaned at 18:30. despite late check- in, they send you letter to remind you with check-out time!? Mosquito and insect was also a problem.

The staff was courteous and friendly. The room and ambience was lovely.very happy with the upgrade to deluxe room. The drinks were good and the Beach bar was nice as well. The brunch at Cinnamon needs improvement. As indians, we were expecting atleast 2-3 items on the menu but did not find it.hence it was a disappointment. The Basilico Mediterranean restaurant was also below expectation. The chicken pizza was horrid. There should be another 1-2 restaurants around the property.

Beautiful setting with a picturesque, coastal vista. High quality facilities, and a tranquil, village-like atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The private pool and garden was very nice indeed. A perfect retreat to relax and recharge after the rak half marathon! Wifi was not included in the hotel price. In this day and age I think its a little bit cheeky for a high quality 5 star hotel to be charging extra for wifi.

Awsome resort. The hotel complex and design are amazing! Hotel staff very good and we were upgraded to a villa room. It seems the hotel is having some problem with the villas as in our case the toilet was slightly leaking and when checking out a Swedish could seemed to have a problem closing their door. Nevertheless I strongly recommend the villa rooms as the view and proximity to the lagoon and beach is really awsome.

My stay at Cover Rotana with the sea side view, the rooms were large and was comportable for us as family. There were many this which I didn't like as follows: 1)Starting waiting at the wrong queue, while one of the assistant asked me what is my booking and I told her 3 bedroom villa, after 30mintues another lady asked me about my case, so that I told her 3bedroom villa, then she took me to another office to finish checking in(The receptionist or helper are not aware of their services and where should be) 2) The villa was not ready, where I reached at 3:30, where the villa should be ready at 3:00 (cheack in 3:00), they wanted 20 minutes to clean one bedroom and we have to say for 20 minutes so that they clean the other two bedrooms 3) The maintenace didn't check the lights, my bedroom was without lights till we called room services to repair it 4) Internet at the villa was not working and we have tried many times with room services to assist us, but unfortunaliy not been fixed till 2 hours, they have send us technical engineer to open the internet and informed us that we need to pay 80 per day. (which was not mentioned at website, they have mentioned that their is wifi and it's only available at the lobby at receptionist only) 5) The extra bed for kids reached the villa at 11:30PM, the kids were sleeply and waiting their bed, however, I have mentioned it at my request while booking(I have to fight so that they bring extra bed late night) 6) Swimming pool is available, but the heater is not working and water is veryyyyyyyyyyyyy cold can't swim (not been informed) 7) The Cooker is switched off due to an accident at one of the villa's (not been informed) After all these which I went through I don't think or beleive to do it again at The Cove Rotana Resort. I'm really upset with their services as five star hotel :(

The general layout and landscaping of the Hotel on a hill descending to a nice beach. The pleasant accommodating staff. Basilico restaurat has excellent food at very reasonable prices and the service is great (thank you Dinesh). Rich breakfast buffet. Late check out for one of our rooms. Less than perfect maintenance - Airconditioning problems. Basic housekeeping - the soap and shampoo were not replenished during our stay of 2 days. Not equipped to deal with peak season check in (weren't assigned the rooms till around 4:30 P.M. although we arrived early), but we were allowed to use the facilities.
