The Beach is so close to my room. The room furniture from inside is 3 star, no carpet on the ground - ceramics floor might get very cold in winter. There should be a carpet. The Hotel Conceirge is cold blooded not reacting quickly to the customers request with fake smile on thier faces !! |

The view of the sea from your balcony and the shuttle or the golf cars taking you around the resort and the private pools in some of the chalets. |

The resort location We were unfortunate to have to be moved rooms 3 times however, the hotel have dealt with this very professionaly and responded quicker on the second complaint we made. We paid 10,000aed for our 3 day stay and I and my wife certainly did not receive value for money on this ocassion which is extremely disappointing........ |

The room was very good and comfertable. the location of the hotel is perfict. The staff is very nice and friendly. Only one thing is not that good, the 12 noon sharp strict chick out. If you wake up late, you have to conseder harying up to not get a late chick out fee. |

The design or layout of the hotel, all rooms, apartments spread over the area as being in a Mediterranean village. Room suffered a bit from moisture smell due to the airco. |

The staff were courteous and eager to assist me with any queries. I informed the receptionist about the tv and she was prepared to send an engineer to fix it, but I turned down the offer, as I felt that hotel guests should not have to have maintenance work done during their stay. The beach was virtually deserted, as opposed to streaming with tourists, so I found it relaxing. There was a choice of restaurants and infinity pools to use, and drivers in golf carts, who were available at all times to take you to and from your room. The television in the room only had one working channel; rooms do not come with a bath tub (only the villas); the shelf on the mini-bar was broken, so the drinks fell to the floor when I opened the door; one of the lamps had a two-pin plug (although the plug sockets are three-pin as standard); and the bar grill by the pool took about 30/40 minutes to bring the food, so it arrived cold. I recommend nobody order a cafe latte from the Cinnamon Bar at breakfast, as it is tastes as though it comes through a sachet rather than an espresso machine. |

Very relaxing, nice rooms and a lovely beach. There were too few staff to cope the amount of holidaymakers. On two occasions we had to get our own car from the valet car park and getting a buggy to your room was not easy. The hotel also didn't have much to offer for entertainment - even a bit of decent music would have helped! |

Looking at an advert a few months ago, the photos portrayed a very interesting & unusual setting & atmosphere - villas & rooms dotting a neatly landscapped, sloping terrain culminating at a water-inlet (lagoon) beyond which was what appeared like the hotel's private beach on the Gulf. When we got there, it seemed that the center spread advert had been brought to life! Since we chose the hotel primarily for its layout and setting, it turned out to be better than our expectation. The children (5 & 6+) loved it & spent most time on the beach or in the pools. We opted for a deluxe room which was okay - a bit basic but the views compensated. Food at Cinnamon was awesome - do try the baked Hammour! Don't know why Rotana rooms are without carpeting these days. Perhaps its got something to do with preventing allergies. However, the bare floors coupled with constant air conditioning, especially during the hot weather, made the room a real ice box. We tried increasing the temperature but somehow it did not work and by day-break we were all freezing as the room temperature was down to 19C. |

The location, very close to dubai. The design of the hotel is very different from other beach resorts. The rate was too high as we went during eid al fitr. Also breakfast was not included in the rate. |

Although we travelled from Abu Dhabi to rak, it is worth of the travel time. The place is amazing...we have been to places of rotana just last year we visited Fujairah beach resort but Cove Rotana Resort is different. My children really loved the place and wanted to come back if given the chance...keep up with your standards. By the way, we loved seeing our "kabayans" smiling everytime, very warm and accomodating. |
