My 5th stay at The Palace and a perfect stay whilst in Dubai Service levels are not what they used to be - Frequently phone rang out whilst calling Concierge or Guest Service number. The staff need more training.

The view was nice. The concierge service was poor and we had to wait for them, frequently, to call back. Housekeeping was slow and the checkout was really bad and slow and the reception staff are either underpaid or lack proper training for a 5 star hotel staff!

The smell of the hotel :) the view (fountin side) Friendly staff -That I booked month perior for a two rooms 'twin bed" and connected, and I had a confirmation before 1 week of the reservation. When I arrived the receptionist told me that our rooms are not next to each other although in "the same floor" and the beds are all "Kings size" !! Frankly I felt upset, beside we cheked in at 4:30 pm !! -The pool is not clean.

Only the location. The staff. I was told to pay the total amount of 3 nights in advance & so I did plus the deposit. When checking out they refund me only half of the deposit although I didn`t use anything from the minibar & didn`t use any facility or service. They justified that the third night had diffrent price & what we payed in advance wasn`t fixed! In brief, they were neither clear nor honest.

I keep staying here for central convenience and the great Asado Restaurant and it's the only hotel I know of that has great feather mattress toppers - enough to keep ME coming back. Hotel welcomes you with a glass of fizzy date juice and then requires charging you an additional 'security' deposit of 100Euros in case you try to sneak off without paying for any mini-bar consumption - not the famed hospitality you'd expect in the city! It's not the money - it's the principle! Too much attention to 'rules & regulations', inability to explain or justify them and ignorance of the concept of pleasing the customer in a 'home away from home'. Sure, the physical elements were purchased correctly but is so devoid of thought and care for the guest that it resembles staying in a luxury furniture store!

Luxury, friendly staff, excellent location near Burj Khalifa area, close proximity to a gigantic shopping mall (Dubai Mall and the Old Souk). relatively small spa facility considering the hotel size and the luxury atmosphere.

the closeness and attraction facilities their lack of daily service of room service (for 3 nights/days no collection of plates & glasses) also, the missing necessary tools : no dustpins in room or sitting room and no hooks behind bathrooms doors to hang clothes or towels.

Location I believe the Palace is over rated and should be a 4 star rather 5. The furniture is over used. The finishing of the room is standered and not superior. The lobby is ok but not special.

Excellent location for running the Dubai Marathon. Morning breakfast buffet is outstanding, as is the service. The spa is wonderful! Exceedingly expensive, but that is five-star and that is Dubai! If running the Dubai Marathon, book rooms many many months in advance as the Marathon is during shopping month and between the two events, it can be difficult to find a hotel room.

It's a beautiful hotel with wonderful services. It's also so close to Dubai mall, one of the biggest malls in Dubai if not the biggest of them all. All in all, the atmosphere was relaxing and all were friendly to my young kids. I would definitely like to repeat my visit.

The hotel design is the best element ... friendly staff in general and excellent location ... It does not have executive lounge.... + the gained value is not matching the rates but I guess whole Dubai is this way especially during the shopping festival ..

My room 680 was the most beautiful room ive ever been in and I hope next time I come I will have it reserved for me or a room that has a very similar view. Thank you for everything . It was a pleasurable stay!

The Palace Suite had vip check-in, they kept previous records of my stays which eased the process. I loved the cleanliness of the room, including the Suite balcony views of the fountains and burj khalifa were spactaculiar plus enchanting interior design, accomdation and suite size. The staff were professional, and arranged all activities such as spa treatment, yacht trips and Thia Dinner reservations. The suite had a constant cooking odor due to the direct view of the Resturants, the managment left an air venilator but wasnt sufficient enough to elimnate the odor. This should be taken care of since it was very annoying.
