One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! - Staff was extremely friendly and helpful - Excellent location, facilities and view
Everything Room view Balcony sea view Breakfast at the room Very good Internet Room facilities are good
Luxurious rooms - great views and great staff generally all round I've become a regular here and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Dubai Great restaurants namely china grill and spice emporium Private beach
A very minor point about the attitude of some staff in blue orange restaurant - letting the rest of the hotel down
I like the facilities, location good enough.
What I don't like that other costomers are writing any rooms number taking dinner or lunch and sign your room then u must to pay for them and the stag of that hotel puting on you bil when u r checking out.
Large fully equipped fitness, swimming pools, sea, views out of the room, food
zumba and yoga lessons had to be paid extra
The sheets on the was not clean ..they had some spots on them ..
location views of the marina beach
High fees for WLAN Staff not very well trained
The pool, the food & menu (catering for vegetarians & kids), the beach just outside the door & the quality of the staff. Nespresso machine in the room was a hit for me!
only thing missing might be USB plugs to charge phone/tablets or international plugs.
The staff on the whole were extremely friendly
After paying more than $400 per night for 2 nights in advance at this 'supposedly luxury' establishment - imagine how I felt when I discovered I couldn't use the bathtub because it was filthy.. And not from the previous night, but from long-term lack of cleaning. Coupled with Drainage problems in the washbasin, bidet and a constantly leaking WC with requisite 'water' stain (nice) plus the offer of a terrace that leads out straight into a muddy bog (because the garden is not being monitored outside Room #008) So I reported the bathtub to the front desk, and guess what arrangement they finally came to.(over 3 days later I might add) a meagre halving of my food bill ..And a cheeky offer of an upgrade on my 'next' visit..as if.. This is a first for me, and I've discovered I don't like luxury hotels that do not come up to the standard they 'promise' and yet charge luxury prices for the trauma of discovering this.. And then there's the insinuation that if I come back and promise to spend more money there, they just MIGHT get it right next time.. There are plenty of Hotels to choose from in Dubai, I recommend you look for the one that doesn't have reviews such as this one.
Egyptian staff in particular as well as african staff
Some other workers .. quite honestly some peopke i dont like .....
I like every thing in the hotel.. My kids also liked the food, club, swimming pool, the beach and every thing.
Outstanding service, personal very firendly, we were withnlittle baby and everybody was very helpful, very nice beach and very good pools!
1. Extremely Clean 2. Very friendly staff 3. Good location 4. Very big swimming pools 5. Beautiful views
The fact that we had to leave :-(
Best breakfast ever. Very good rooms. Nice pool, restaurants and beach.
Coffee too expensive (6 euros) Not free shuttle to the city Not free shuttle from/to the airport
Best service, great property
Very low check-in service (we made a money transfer for the room and when came it turned out the room is not available, finally we had to pay 1k eur per night more and got presidential suite), then they promised to bring us the fruits - we asked 5 times without the results, arrogant staff, much worser then in atlatis hotel - they have very nice and helpful personnel everywhere, I would write more and more but definitely it was my first and the last stay in westin!
suite was not so nice , disappointed by the view and the quality price ratio
Nothing what would positively suprise me.
- low quality food. You cant get a fresh orange juice... - air conditioning working poorly (it's either off or on maximum) - Low quality wi-fi, no reception. - Terrible front desk service.
Fab hotel fab everything , can be a bit loud beech facing with night club and party boats but it all depends on what time you want to go to bed Over hall fab time and would I go back... Yes
On arriving from UK around 2am I was hit with another room charge not what I wanted to her but it was my mistake for not reading room rules , I put in the kids ages on booking the room but because they were over 12 I had to pay for another room, nothing appeared to come up on booking the hotel this end
The swimming pool facilities are excellent and access to wi- fi is pretty good across the Hotel.
The rooms are runned down ,particularly the bathrooms need an uplift. Breakfast is not up to the normal standard of a 5 star Hotel in Dubai.
Excellent location at the beach great restaurants friendly staff
Can get a bit crowdy in weekends
Perfect place to spend time with family...
Great Location, Beach was busy but ok, Restaurant Manager were always willing to organize for special requests
Concierge Service very uncoordinated regarding transportation, Somewhat cold design in lobby and main restaurant
I really liked the hotel beach area, it is beautiful and easy access from the hotel and with great pools. Everyone is very friendly and staff is great.
I really did not like that I had booked a room for two adults and one child (12 years old), only to be told at check-in that kids over 4 have to pay FULL PRICE (!) even if staying in the same room as the parents and no extra bed is required. They have very large twin beds so was no issue to fit. So the price went up 50% from the booking.com price. Therefore I would recommend that anyone booking this hotel does NOT arrive with children, they have a very unfriendly child policy with regards to room charges. As a result, the room charge went up 50% and the hotel because very, very uncompetitive on price. Since it was not possible to cancel, we were stuck. It was a great holiday but 50% too expensive.
