I was allowed to check-in ant 9am, no delay. I was allowed breakfast that day after explaining that i'd be missing breakfast on my check-out day because my flight was delayed. My passport was collect because I hadn't paid ( I tried to avoid that) but it turned out helpful because it served as a means of identification when a package came for me in the post and the front desk was able to collect on my behalf. Location is good. Close to everywhere hotel to Gold souk 10 dhs, gold souk to deira city center mall 15 dhs. Very helpful staff. Cabs don't know too well, so take a few business cards on the first day as there a map behind it. From aiport, the driver can call to get location. I found it was better to beside Liva plaza than to say behind Dana center. And Lotus Hotel and Sun and Sands downtown hotel you're near destination. Breakfast wasn't too exciting. I particularly did not like the seasoning of the baked beans as it completely altered the taste. Jiuce, cereal, eggs, susage on 1 day, fruits, coffee, bread croisant.....so not bad. Guess the baked beans really put me off. No complimentary bottle of water in the room! Night club so ask for higher room. I was on the 5th floor.

Altogether this hotel is good value for money. Hotel staff friendly but doesn't know much about Dubai - that was dissapointing; for example they couldn't give us or even tried to get us any information about public transportation. Tax is also very high, something like 20 percent and you pay it on arrival. Rooms are big and tidy, although you should know that if you have a room on the 3rd floor of lower - night clubs and traffic can keep you awake. So if you can request a room at 5th floor or higher - do it. Location was superb if you want to travel by metro or bus. Airport is also very close and you can use the metro to get there. Most taxidrivers don't know hotel Versailles, so take a good map with you when you arrive to Dubai. Breakfast was good and included coffee, tea, juices, cornflakes, scrambled eggs, bacon (which obviously isn't pork anyway), sausages, pancakes, toast, bread, lettuce and fruits.

The facilities, spacious room and bathroom, excellent value for money in the restaurant and free internet. The noise from the disco on the first floor which thumped out loud music until 3am.

The location is ideal with two metro stations nearby. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the service was also very good and does deserve it's three stars. I give it four out of five only because I ended up paying more due to the additional 20% tax that I did not know about before making the reservation.

Good location not far from a metro station and only 10 minutes by taxi from the airport. Comfortable, quiet and secure rooms with good beds and shower, tv, air conditioning. Restaurant and cafe were convenient for when I didn't want to go out. Pool on the roof was relaxing though a bit cold! WiFi was mostly good but kept having to sign in again and again. Staff were either rude or unhelpful, and were not good at English. At reception I was told it would take 25 minutes to walk to the city centre - in fact it took more than three hours and the route was not obvious because they were unable to provide me with a proper map. I was also wrongly informed that the metro system was still under construction. In fact, it had been completed two years prior to my visit as I found out later that day. Also, the travel desk lady was particularly rude. Finally, the reception staff didn't let me check out and leave until they had sent a colleague to go upstairs and inspect my room, even though I was in a rush to leave. Aside from the staff and the lack of value for money, there were no big issues with this hotel, although some minor ones are the lack of heating in the pool and jacuzzi, and the fact that you keep having to sign in to the WiFi rather than just being able to remain signed in.

Location even if its hard to reach, the room were good and clean, Check in were ok and he provided us a sweet rather than the standard room that I booked because he was out of rooms which is a good action. Check out was ok and quick. Breakfast was acceptable comparing to a 3 stars hotel - One day the wake me up at 4:40 am as a wakeup call! Then at 6:30am!!! - One un believable person in the counter didn’t allow my wife's brother to go up to our room!! and after a huge argument with him then with his manager, his manager closed the case and he allowed him to go up!!! i never saw or hear that ever!!!. - We were in the fourth floor and the DUM,DUM,DUM noise coming from the 1st floor night clubs was annoying us a lot therefore if you need to stay in this hotel you SHOULD be in the 6th or 7th floor maximum.

free internet - though it was amazingly slow and disconnected so often- Don't trust the check out time - ~15:00 as booking.com says. It's till 12:00. Impolite and wintry female receptionist who said 'booking.com doesn't say anything about check out time, sorry' without eye contact. I totally do not recommend a travel agent at hotel ground floor, Desert Safari -Car was broken and stuck into sand without any petrol, driver grumbled it's because of three women like elephant who were so big in a same car...I had to pay half-price. Internet is lagging and disconnected often on 4th floor, thing is u can be provided one coupon only for 3days or 1GB download. At 8am, chambermaid will knock your room and try to clean it. Receptionist and travel agent are talking (prittle-prattle) about ppl in Russian with hard laughing. I couldn't see anything in this hotel. Sorry.

This hotel didn't give customers free drinking water per day as other hotels. The towels and sheets have a grey appearance as if they weren't washed. In the rooms didn't have kettle for tea and coffee. In my opinion the carpet in the room where I have been never was cleared by vacuum cleaner. Indian driver when transporting to the beach don't have allowed the hotel guests occupy the first rows of seats in the bus leaving their for hotel staff. I didn't pleasure of my staying at this hotel.

As I marked, Hotel is clean and good according to price and location for city trip. When I entered in hotel, the staffs said: "For early leaving you will be charged as mentioned on your booking document". I left hotel earlier than my booking dates. It seems the reception staffs are not aware about manager rules and the managers are not polite and logical. They charged me 27% more than the value that is mentioned on Booking.com reservation document. It was a kind of cheating because Booking.com clearly mentioned the exact value for late or early cancellation.

The room is nice, it's worth it. We have waited long to check-in. In our bookin check-in time is 12 to 2pm, we came around 1pm, reception just told us to check-in by 2pm. They didn't even explain the reason of waiting. The hotel is not easy to find, taxi driver had hard time searching the hotel.

So many I prefer they should change their attitude towards customers and they should help them out when needed and at last they should be transparent. and not every woman visiting some one in some hotel is a some prostitute. My fiancee came from south africa and she came to visit me in this hotel and they make her look so bad she cried so much and now i have a relation issue because this damn hotel.

When I read references I was worried about the hotel but I have to tell that hotel is pretty goods for money I paid. Breakfast included, free wifi, bus to the beach and nice price. Disco is not hear only air condition but you will hear everywhere. There wasnt a problem to give us room in highest floor. I would recommend it.

The price and the included breakfast were great The 2 bars in the building were not worth the cost they charged for a beer. I was given what I was told were some free pieces of fruit only to be charged 100aed. I do not like being lied to. I stayed on the 3rd floor and could here the music from the bars.

Only price! I felt policemen or immigration officers ask me some questions as a suspect when I checked in. During check in, one of them asked me which I prefer, fresh juice or tea, and then I told him fresh juice. I thought that's a welcome drink but they charged me..... I'm not sure if I was stupid....

As I mentioned the price, the location was also not that bad. Staff were too slow to process my booking, they did not read booking confirmation details as it was mentiond the checkout time at 15:00 hrs, they told me that is not valid you have to leave at 14:00 hrs, which off- course may create disputes.
