Altogether this hotel is good value for money. Hotel staff friendly but doesn't know much about Dubai - that was dissapointing; for example they couldn't give us or even tried to get us any information about public transportation. Tax is also very high, something like 20 percent and you pay it on arrival. Rooms are big and tidy, although you should know that if you have a room on the 3rd floor of lower - night clubs and traffic can keep you awake. So if you can request a room at 5th floor or higher - do it. Location was superb if you want to travel by metro or bus. Airport is also very close and you can use the metro to get there. Most taxidrivers don't know hotel Versailles, so take a good map with you when you arrive to Dubai. Breakfast was good and included coffee, tea, juices, cornflakes, scrambled eggs, bacon (which obviously isn't pork anyway), sausages, pancakes, toast, bread, lettuce and fruits.

The facilities, spacious room and bathroom, excellent value for money in the restaurant and free internet. The noise from the disco on the first floor which thumped out loud music until 3am.

Good location in Deira, close to metro station (Al Riga). Cleanless was ok and also friendly staff. There was free of charge shuttle to beach and one shopping centre. We have breakfast includet, but it was so poor. I excepted more.. There was roof pool, but nothing extra.. Always better than nothing:)

The hotel was well located to shopping centres etc.The cleaning and restuarant staff were very courteous and helpful. Checking in procedures were very tedious, with receptionist not able to communicate effectively. Also we were kept waiting in the lobby for more than an hour, she had apparently ''forgot'' about us!

I liked the price and the location it's close to the airport supermarket just 2mints walk restaurants just 5mints and the metro station not far so the location is perfect . The say there is a bar in the hotel which is negative there is no such thing called bar , there are 2 nightclubs which are the worst nightclubs I have ever seen in my life . Guys who like to enjoy and having fun in nightclubs , this is not the place u should go.

We stayed in at Hotel Versailles for about a week and were travelling with a 2yr old. The Hotel was excellent value for money. The location is ideal for people looking for a city holiday. The rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable. Breakfast was included in the room price and considering the reasonable cost, the breakfast buffet was very good. The Hotel offered free pick and drop services to some locations which was very useful as the taxis can be very expensive in Dubai. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were travelling with a 2yr old and the Hotel provided free cot which was again very helpful. The Hotel offered free Wifi for the duration of our stay, however the connection was quite unstable and required repeated logins. Considering the value for money, its difficult to find flaws but the food quality can be improved upon.

This hotel was pretty close to most of the places we needed to go and was located in a quiet safe neighborhood close to a new supermarket which I found very reasonable. Free Shuttles to the beach and City Centre Shopping Mall were offered which was a nice bonus. We were put in a fairly high floor so it wasn't too noisy as they have a nightclub on the first floor. Service was prompt and they were able to let us stay another night for the promotion price we had booked at. Doorman and bell hops were very helpful. Overall, a really decent place to stay for those who don't want to pay 5 star prices. There was really nothing we had to complain or dislike about this hotel at all.

On arrival, the staff were very warm a d welcoming. Check-in was speedy. We asked for a room on the top floors and got a sixt room floor. The special part was the upgrade from a single room to a suite. We were delighted. The room was neat. Hot water was present. There was free wifi in the rooms even though I had to input password very often. The breakfast buffet was filled with choices. To be honest, I had expected less. Always looked forward to breakfast. There was a daily bus shuttle to Mirdif City Centre. We would have preferred one going as far as Dubai Mall though ;). Booking tour within the city was easy as there was a lady in the lobby always willing to help. We booked the Desert Safari as well as tea at the Burj Al Arab through her at very good prices; lesser than what we had previuosly seen on the Internet. The two nightclubs in the hotel weren't too fantastic. You can skip them. The rooftop pool was clean and a good spot for sunbathers. Very good location. Close to cheap shopping at Naif Souk, Deira Gold Souk, Deira City Centre. Taxis are easy to get. It's also about 15 minutes from the airport. We had a great stay and I recommend Versailles Hotel. They could improve the soundproof quality of the clubs on the first floor for the sake of guests on those lower floors.

Free Internet Services, Cleanliness The items at the mini bar were too expensive. The hotel I left before Versailles gave everything in their mini bar free as a complement but its still less expensive. I am not clamouring for free gifts but their pricess should be reasonable.

Versailles is a good hotel, real value for money. It is also in a quite environment so I could rest well at night after a pleasant but long day shopping. I would definitely reccommend Versailles to friends. It is not very well known to taxi drivers so I had to be giving directions. But for someone who doesnt know the way around, please make sure you have Versailles complimentary card or print location map on internet.

Very good hotel would recommend to go. Breakfast was very good and shopping centres are very close by, staff were friendly Night club was on the bottom floor but there was a lot of disturbing noise coming from there which did kind of annoy us. Plus it should be kept separate from the family area

Superb staff: friendly, responsive, smart. Really impressive. They picked us up at a very late arrival time, and then took us back to the airport. Our requests were handled quickly, the first time. It's tired, and definitely not 4 stars, but it was clean and safe, and it has a great location. If you're on a budget and want a great location, stay here.
