Winchester Deluxe Hotel Apartments

The apartment was well equipped. Bed was comfortable and bed linen was changed daily by housekeeping. Staff were very helpful with any questions that I had. Swimming pool was excellent. It was on the roof with fantastic views to Bur Kalifa and beyond.

Staff approach at Reception was not good.

We arrived at night and we were welcomed. Staff were very friendly. We were upgraded to a two bedroom instead of a studio for free. I wish I had my boys with me to share the other room which was empty.

Nothing really but only a suggestion to maybe have some light pastel colors on the room walls to elevate dark furnitures.

Excellent hotel,,, really worth more payments

Giving 1 key to the apartment wasnt enough for four people.....so when some one goes back to the hotek he had to ask the reception to open up the app>>>>

Family 2 bedroom apartment was truly very big (oo-er misses)

Breakfast and the room it was served in was not the same standard as the rest of the hotel and accommodation.

The location was perfect for us as it was near Al Karama shopping centre which was a key activity during our stay. We were also about a 10-15 min walk from the metro which enabled us to easily get to the other shopping malls and tourist attractions such as the Burj Khalifa. There is a great pool at the top of the hotel along with a gym which was never busy and looked very new.

We booked an apartment with 2 bedrooms and a lounge and due to problems with the air conditioning, we were initially put in an apartment without a lounge which did not suit us at all. As recompense we were given free breakfast for the 4 days of our stay. I asked to be moved the following day to an apartment with a lounge, but we had to wait some time for the room to be ready.

This is a good aparthotel and I liked my stay here. Rooms are very large and quite clean. Staff helpful and nice. Rooftop pool was great cause the water was very warm and it had a nice view of downtown Dubai. Personally, that was the best part of my stay here.

Accommodation is a big overpriced but that's common in Dubai. Furnishing of the apartment is a bit simple and dry so the space seems cold. Bathroom is strangely small for such a huge apartment. But these are all minor objections.

An excellent hotel/apartment, with only one grouse. As well as airport pickups and drop-offs at very reasonable prices they also provide a free shuttle bus service several times a day to various useful locations around the city. Room (suite) was exceptionally spacious and very well serviced.

The write-up said it has a restaurant and coffee shop. It doesn't, only a breakfast room (which we didn't use so can't comment on quality of breakfast, but was reasonably priced at £5). There is a sister hotel about 10min walk away which does have restaurant according to staff. Hot water heated by individual electric heaters and is dangerously hot - beware!

Everything really. Good location for shopping but a little out from central Dubai. Easily connected however by the metro link close to the hotel

Drinking water is not provided. South Indian Restaurants are very far.

Clean facilities and value for money

Should be bath rob and slippers inside the room but it is not requested for slippers and extra towel through phone twice and till checkout I don't get it I don't know why may be im asian

Space in the room

- The 1st night we stayed in a room next the a main street . Poorly isolated room and we could not sleep. Luckily we could change the 2nd day - since there is no wifi in the room but only in the reception, that area (also the entrance) was always crowded giving a rather poor impresssion.

The furniture is really old, the rooms don't have wifi as described by the hotel and there is no room service. The fridge was empty and not even a bottle of water was available in a Deluxe One Bedroom Suite!!!! In short, there is nothing "deluxe" about this hotel.

Overall, I liked everything about Winchester.

Everything, I will definitely stay there again in the future. Also I am going to tell all of my friends going to Dubai to stay there. Thank you Winchester for the service and hospitality that was given to me.

We liked the location and the room was nice and big. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. It was easy to get down town as the metro was quite near.

We think the kitchen could have been better equipped, by we managed ok.
