Some of the staff (restaurant, bar, duty manager) were very pleasant.
We arrived late because our Liat flight was delayed (of course) for four hours. The reception staff were not polite and they had not saved any food for us (despite our forwarding request, once we knew of our impending delayed arrival). Despite paying a lot of money for the "all-inclusive", and arriving very late through no fault of our own, and having an ill and hungry toddler, they did not sympathise with us and forced us out of the hotel bang-on the check-out time and prevented us from having any more food or refreshments, just 12 hours after our arrival. All the receptionists were downright rude, mean and objectionable. There was no wireless signal in the room (to the contrary of their promotopnmal material). Although it was not technically theirs, the beach had litter and occasional broken glass on it. Overall, we spend an awful lot of money and left deeply disappointed.
Generally staff were friendly (except duty manger who was patronising and rude) Rooms are clean, beds comfy Food is tasty, but little choice Pleasant location Quiet
Very little fruit available sometimes none at all, and very few, if any, healthier options Poor wifi signal in rooms; was told 'it's just the walls' Not all TV channels worked, asked for them to be looked at but no one came
The estate was very spacious, staff attentive and food very good albeit buffet. The shop very handy.A good location right near the beach.I was very happy and would gladly recommend to friends and family. All inclusive is a definite bonus.
I only stayed two nights in transit from Dominica to London.Slightly off season but would be concerned with visitor/crowd numbers in full season as the hotel has very many rooms.Next time i will hire a car to get away from the seclusion to see the rest of the island.
I liked the location. Beach is clean and right next to the hotel.
Very noisy at night. Mosquito problem. WiFi is very spotty. There were 3 instances where electricity wasn't working for extended period of time. Poor air conditioning.
The staff was great, the room was spacious and neat the price was good
The beach was not cleaned too much sea algae on the sand and the resort was kind of boring. I guess too many retirees than young peoples..no night life...cannot spend day on the beach and night in your room with no tv. The food was ok...would like some local food at least one day and one night
Over all our staying was excellent however need some improvement in installing a sound system and a place for a night life.
The food was not local (Caribbean)
Staff was very attentive.
Food good but often cold. Property needs some upgrading but I would come back to this resort.
Location, beach, staff at reception and the gentleman on the tour desk. Staff were friendly and helpful.
General shabbiness of the place, the bathroom was not like the picture on your website(it was grungy),trying to return a beach towel to Janet was a big time-waster,the beach bar/restaurant area was really down-at-heel. It was all a bit jaded really. Glad it was only for one night or we would have gone somewhere else.
Friendly staff. Nice beach. Food was ok.
Facilities are a bit run down (though clean). A/C didn't work in my room and lock on balcony door was broken, hence it was open for my stay which didn't feel safe.
The location is beautiful, the staff were friendly. The warri pier is a beautiful setting for dinner. The food was all good.
I last came here in 1997 and nothing has changed since then. It needs a complete refurbishment, I actually found it quite sad as it had so much potential but Rex are literally letting it rot. The rooms are old and very tired, when we arrived all shrubs were overgrown and the grass really long but they did cut those while we were there. The palm trees haven't been pruned in years and as such most are dead. The palm trees that had died had either been left there or cut down and the bits left to rot. Despite paying for an ocean front room as a treat they hadn't made any effort with the room which was very old and plain. There was an old shelf in the corner that used to have an old tv on, the tv had been replaced by a flat screen one on the wall but the shelf remained with nothing on it. The fly screens over the bathroom window had big holes in them so insects got in. The beach towels were just old faded bath towels. I would understand some if these issues it it was an independent hotel but since it's part of Rex Resorts they should be ashamed of themselves.
What a dump ... The all inclusive is a joke. A lot of money for the filthiest most runned down place we have ever stayed! Go somewhere else!!
location was nice, food was ok.
asked for ex pillow staff provided 1 which smelt like someone had urinated on it in the past.they replaced this.
Very friendly helpful staff Right on the beach....very quiet as very beginning of the season Comfortable beds
Big flight of stairs to terrace for breakfast with no lift for disabled
Everything was nice and clean. Hotel is right on the beach. Food was very tasty and all staff were friendly. We like everything and enjoyed. I would recommend this hotel .
