The beach and facilities there were lovely

1. The food choice was narrow and bland 2. Staff service in gthe restaurant was slow and the beach bar man in particular was unfriendly and a poor ambassador for the hotel.

Sea and beach, spacious rooms, quiet location.

Note: I'm professional travel agent so please, treat my comments to improve your hotel. 1) WI FI doesn't work in the room (as promised) and doesn't work properly in lobby. Only promissions to fiх every day - seemed as lie - better to say honestly. In the meantime, this rubbish problem must be resolved easily and cheap, with up-to-date techology... 2) Food is poor though - as to quality and choice, athough I'm not a gourmet. I have tried dinner and breakfast, and did not want to try lunch. Breakfast room is located in another building crossing the road in fron of the hotel, and looks not so attractive. 3) Bars are also bad - quality of coctails are awful. No chance to have normal cup of coffee! Nowhere! I don't count boiled water in tun in the beach bar, with opened jar of instant coffee from the shop attached, where everyone have to dive with his spoon... 4) Room is quite good and spacious. But bathtub is so soft that I was afraid to break it staying inside..(i'm not fat and heavy:)) 5) Perhaps it is not a hotel's fault: location is indicated absolutely incorrect on booking.com. Please, check location on the map. I lost 1 hour more while driving from a/p looking for place in totally another side. 6) I have arrived a day later after booking but receptionist did not find my reservation, I have to represent printed paper. 7) Hotel looks as it needs a rennovation and better food and services. Or better price policy.

Every question which I asked was answered in a friendly efficient manner. We particularly enjoyed eating on the Warri Pier.

It was a pity that the a la carte menu was cancelled without notice on the one night which we stayed.

We stayed there because we were sailing for two weeks prior and needed a hot bath, airconditioning with a tv to catch up on current events and a fresh water pool. The pool was clossed, the air conditioning did not work as we returned from dinner and it was hot and we had to call four times to get someone to fix it. There was no hot water and the tv broke. We could not even get a bellman to help with our luggage. Our friends had similar problems and did not have a phone in thier room to call for help so we had to contact front desk for them.

The treatment of the staff socially the lady who helped us she was very nasty. She did not give us what we were booked for and she put us a mile away from our family that we were traviling with thank god foe a gentleman called nail he moved us next to our family the last two nights.

The place is bad they say they have internet wifi which is a free in all antigua but there was no wifi in the room only in the lobby whic is very far open and has million moskitos the rom is full with ants the food is bad by the map you may think it is in the city but it is not it is ten minutes away and a texi is ten us each way thewhole facility is old

Poor service

We were in transit so stayed only for a night's sleep. It was fairly close to the airport, the check in was quick.

We have stayed there before and it now looks tired. The beds were very uncomfortable and there was only one pillow each with no spares. The air conditioning was noisy. We didn't use any facilities we were only there for a few hours.

I like the price i paid the first two trips. we only stay for two nights.266.00 very good price.

The price this last trip.I paid 380.00. we think that was to much.

Dickerson Beach is beautiful and Halcyon Cove Resort is an older facility, with a great location and a great price!
