Could walk down the beach to see my family and friends and go to my niece's wedding.
Right on the beach!
Location right on beach, spacious with separate living area, great wi-fi, great staff and onsite beachside restaurant and bar. The beds were 5 star standard too.
This was our second stay at this. hidden gem of an establishment. The staff are genuinely interested in the welfare, and comfort of their guests. The location is amazing, and the rooms are wonderful, without being ostentatious.
Fantastic beach location
The thing that grabbed me about this resort was the care that I could see. The reception was great and there are small touches everywhere that just show that they care about giving guests a great experience.
staff where great ,helpful and welcoming . request for late checkout was no problem . will stay here again next time I'm on island but for a bit longer as i think it would make a good base for exploring the island .
What an awesome time we had at Siboney. Right from arrival, at reservations the attendant was pleasant and accommodating. Our housekeeper was a joy and the room was always immaculate upon our return. The location was perfect, right on the beach and a quick cab ride into St. John's. Highly recommend and would go back.
- quieter beach - super pleasant staff - close & tasty (moderately expensive) restaurant steps away - boutique hôtel with local flair. - 15-20 min from airport
- reserved 2 rooms, ants in both. had to completely secure/zip up all luggage at all times to avoid them getting in. - unpaved rock parking lot (hand-carry luggage across) used by locals for beach access. A lot. - somehow I expected "more" based upon room reviews. Albeit stained, nicer furniture in more expensive rooms but all kitchenette stuff tired/old. Needs an overhaul to justify charging more than $100-150/night. - not handicapped or impaired accessible. Plenty of steep & narrow stairs to climb. - restaurant attached is independent from hotel (can't charge meal to room, no menu of restaurant in room) - noisy balconies, especially if nearest ocean/restaurant. - rooms with A/C only in bedrooms have living area balconies with flimsy shutter-like doors that allow mosquitos & noise in. Too bad since we paid extra for ocean view. actually liked cheaper room without view better (further away from bar noise; a/c in living area)
The room, the darkness because the window was obscured by bushes. . The noisy air conditioning. The fact that on two occasions my booking was confused and even after I cancelled a wrong booking, the company wrote to you and said I should have arrived. Not a good expereince
Great location, Nice bar and restaurant. close to downtown. Great beach not too many people
No air condition in the living room
Location, ocean/garden setting, staff, attentive and friendly service all around, wi-fi, multichannel TV options, adjacent restaurant/bar Coconut Grove.
Service, location, diverse clientele, garden/ocean-front setting.
Security could be tighter.
Only stayed 1night on our way back from St. Kitts before flying out the next day. Not much time to discover the kitchette and local facilities etc. but did find a Hobiecat rental down the beach past Sandals which was my goal the morning before the taxi came to take us to the airport!
Put in a bottom room because we were only staying 1 night. Musty smell in the bedroom where the air conditioner was present. Facilities not pointed out. Patio area not tidy (foot bath in bushes) Restaurant was one of the reasons we booked here. Nice location but for the price bathing suit attire (with no cover up) didn't seem appropriate. Service for lunch was slow and beach activities are on the doorstep.
Location ,size of hotel, cab service, restaurant food, maid service,
Slow restaurant service, pool closed
Excellent reception staff.
AC in bedroom only, so hot in living room / office area.
Beach, gardens, staff
Restaurant facilities quite limited
Apart from superb location and accommodation, friendly and helpful staff most appreciated. I lot of experience and imagination have been applied in making the facilities so enjoyable.
unclear demarcation boundaries on beach, in regards to use of beach furniture - this is only a minor issue but, could be eased by simple explanation at check-in.
Enjoyed every minute of my stay. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive! The restaurant had great food the beach was perfect (except when packed with cruise ship patrons... only one day out of 7). Traveled to other areas of the island but found this to be the place I'd return to!
My cousin did not like the cats that at times seemed to be everywhere. She has a phobia. I was unbothered by this however... as I love cats and many other 4 legged critters.
Coconut Grove Restaurant - excellent food, service (never tempted to have dinner elsewhere!); Constant breezes kept temperature on the beach quite nice; Just steps from my room to the ocean - couldn't be better.
Pricing seemed significantly (+20-25%) higher than for other, apparently similar properties.
Loved the views of the tropical garden from our balcony and the ocean from our bedroom. The staff was helpful, friendly and accommodating. The beach was pristine. The restaurant served delicious food.
Restaurant service was slow at times.
Nice boutique hotel great location the coconut grove restaurant / bar right out from is top drawer. The hotel grounds/ gardens are outstanding
some days the cruize ship folks invaded the perfect little beach out front.
- very nice apartment with everthing you need - helpfull and smiling staff - nice location - nice tropical garden
The hotel was excellent. Each and every person of the staff was fiendly and kind. When we arrived, we found a problem with the booking. The reception offered us a welcome drink at the nearby bar and resolved the problem quickly. Thank you very much for that. We appreciate advices and recomendations given by the reception staff. We liked the quiet privacy of the hotel. At the same time Dickenson beach is quite lively beach compared to other beaches of the island. We stayed at the top floor appartment of the hotel and we loved the view of our "private jungle". There were no moskitos in the room and the birds on the balcony were no problem. The grilled lobster served at the Coconut grove restaurant is delicious. We had a wonderful time at the Siboney Beach Club.
all the staff, right on the beach, the cost of staying at siboney beach club and feeding birds and small lizards on out balcony.
stung by endless mozzies, had to spray the rooms after shutting up all doors, before going out in the evening. covered ourselves with anti mozzie lotion and still got stung down in the bar on the beach at happy hour. the place needs fogging once a week.
