Hotel New York  

Stayed here twice on a trip to Southern Albania. Both times the room was fantastic -- very modern and very clean. Well-designed with a lovely balcony. Friendly and helpful staff.

The rooms are modern and comfortable, and the swimming pool was fresh and clean. The surroundings provide some beautiful views.

The hotel announces a private beach on all their promotional materials; such beach does not exist - it's merely a flight of stairs down to the sea, which is very rough and full of rocks. The only available beach in the area is a public one, at the start of Uji i Ftohte (about a Km away from the hotel), and is usually pretty dirty. Most of the staff was efficient but unfriendly, apart from one of the girls at the reception. The breakfast is absolutely awful.

Very good hotel, good value for money, fine location with many restaurants and bars around. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is literally a 2 minute walk from your room to the beach. The room was incredibly clean and nice (although the view wasn't the best - we were outside all day anyway!). When we called the reception for help with modern appliances in the room (2 times) the owner himself came to help and explain how to use the ac and tv within only a few minutes after the call!

If you don't have a car, the center is not close by. It would be about a 30 minute walk at least. I read about how other people think the wait staff is sub par at the restaurant and I do concur. The food was also not very good at all, especially for the prices. However, I might suggest a different and excellent restaurant literally a few buildings up the road. Restorant Amantia. Great food, great service - and definitely more affordable.

The most interesting in this place are location, clean sea, private beach and of course - Staff!

Nothing bad is in this hotel, but as for me it's bore a bit in the evenings as there are no places to go for walk (no pedestrian zone) or especially night clubs!

Staff (especially at Reception) were always helpful and did their best to accomodate.

Restaurant was quite expensive (so vote with your feet), and 'English' translation of menu was barely understandable.

The location is hotel,the pool,the bridge,the pizzeria and the parking was very nice.The rooms are comfortable and some of the staff was friendly.Price was valuable,food was cheap..

In the groundfloor you can find reconstruction,this is uncomfortable.The elevator is slow,the breakfast is boring,the beach is dirty.In the hotel/beach and pool/you can find very bad construtions sunbeds.In the nights the rooms are noisy,because hotel near to Myu-myu beach .

I would recommend this hotel to anyone for a holiday or weekend break. The rooms are good and reasonably priced, the restaurant is excellent however breakfast is simple but perfectly adequate. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Elegant minimalist room. Nice pool. Helpful staff especially in the restaurant. Nice view and easy access to small pebbly beach.

Elevator was often broken. Complicated to get from room to restaurant.

The hotel location is perfect(Pozicioni i hotelit eshte i mire)

The room was good only the air condition had problem,the breakfast was terrible and useless.The Elevator doesnt work and you must go upstairs by foot.(Dhomat jane te mira vecse komanduesi i kondicionerit ishte i prishur dhe per ket arsye ajo nuk fikej,duhet te fleje me batanije.Mengjesi ishte nje skandal i vertet,eshte gjynaf qe nje hotel te mos kishte mengjes per te huajt.Sherbimi eshte cop cop,me te pyet recepsionistja me ke do flesh,nuk ndodh ne asnje vend te botes.Ka qene hotel i mire dhe e keni katandisur fare.Hotel qe mos ti punoj ashensori vec ketu kam pare.pupupu

The room and the view from the room were excellent. The hotel was very clean.

the restaurant was clean but sterile with no atmosphere - the restaurant staff were not very attentive and the food and wine was not great. The breakfast choice extremely limited. The pool area had workman working with drills while we tried to relax.

Very well furnished with everything one could need. Great place to stay!

May be it would have been a bit noisy if the tunnel worked ...? But we were really happy in this respect, too.

Einzig und allein als Durchreisehotel zwischen Montenegro und Griechenland zu empfehlen. Ansonsten: vergessen Sie Albanien!

Good standard, great location.

Situation en bord de mer. Pas difficile à trouver.

La route qui sépare l'hôtel de la (toute) petite plage et qui ne figure pas nettement sur les photos du descriptif. Eviter les chambres donnant sur l'arrière de l'hôtel peut-être plus calmes mais sombres et sans aucun dégagement.

Budynek hotelu nowoczesny, ciekawy architektonicznie, ładnie wkomponowany w krajobraz. Urozmaicone śniadania. łAdny plac zabaw dla dzieci I basen.

Pomieszczenia wspólne znacznie ładniejsze od pokoi. W pokojach ubogie wyposażenie. Brak stolika I krzeseł, brak lampek nocnych. Pokój nie zasługuje na 4*, najwyżej 2. Zdjęcia tak zrobione, żeby nie było widać ruchliwej drogi przed hotelem. Plaża hotelowa schowana pod wywieszonym betonowym chodnikiem
