Set next to its private beach with free deck chairs and parasols, the Hotel Benilva complex includes a bar and restaurant with international specialities, a children's playground and 2 hotel buildings...
Score from 30 reviews Good
Located right on the beach, 10 km from the centre of Durrës, Guesthouse Villa Daniele features a private beach area with free-to-use sun loungers and parasols. It offers an on-site bar and restaurant....
Score from 9 reviews Very good
Built in 2010, Hotel Albion is located on the 3 highest floors of a 10-storey building, offering panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea, which are especially nice during sunset.

Score from 45 reviews Very good
+ The hotel facilities (the pool, the private beach with sunshades). + The restaurant with various types of food + The room apart of a bath + Location is great for a walk along the beach and still just a bit away from too corwdy Durres Centre. If needed can get there in 5-10 minutes by car.
- We did not like the bathroom at all - the curtain was too short causing all bathroom dirty from the water after using shower. - The hotel has professional aircondition system which is good, but our room was above the radiators of that system - it was too noisy to sleep with the open window. - The toilet was sinking and there were no paint in some part pf the bathroom - it needs for sure renovation fast. For the same price we had much better room in Himare.
All the staff were very helpful and gave me everything I asked for in my e-mails. The hotel was very clean as the staff work very hard. I would definately stay here again.
They need to have some sort of entertainment in the evenings.
We like everything. Hotel is very cosy. We chose this hotel because of the underground parking place. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they speak English (even our roomkeeper). The manager improves customers´ suggestions. So we had better conditions than we expected before. We got nice room with sea view. The restaurant serve great meals (pizza with ham for around 3,70 €). The beach was clean (but only the beach before Hotel Oaz). Hotel Oaz has definitely the most cleanest beach in Durres.
Dirty sea (omg) and rusty taps (but this was only detail).
EN: Pool, beach, food, breakfast (every day the same, but ok), bar, location, ambient, parking in garage BH: Što se tiče naše raje, hotel je sve u svemu (poređenju sa Hrvatskom i Crnom Gorom) skroz ok.
EN: Very bad bathroom (a lot of water on the floor after showering and little mold), a little higher food prices in relation to the city and the restaurant next to the hotel BH: Što se tiče negativnih stvari, nema ih puno, ali kupatilo je katastrofa po meni.
Everything - I have stayed 3 times over 4 years with my son and there really is nothing more they could do to improve it. It's small-sized and family-owned and managed and ALL of the staff are so nice, helpful and efficient, nothing appears to be too much trouble for them. You could put this hotel in any Med. resort and it would be successful. It has a great location and it is more than possible to just stay around the hotel and its beach area and completely relax, or use the regular bus services or a taxi to visit Durres, or if you have a car there are loads of really interesting places to visit within easy driving distance during the day.
We stayed for two weeks and thought the hotel location was good as away from the really busy road and Durres although still planety of bars an restaurants to choose from -although the food was so good we tended to eat in the hotel anyway! The staff speak limited English so are not always able to explain things which can give the impression that they are abrupt but are actually all very nice and efficient. I read reviews that you couldn't eat breakfast outside - I did for two weeks - nobody said I couldn't... The standard of cleanliness is very high throughout the hotel and the beach. Glad we chose this small hotel.
location, good stuff, food,swimming pool
Beach Cleanliness Parking in garage Food
A little bit noise
Nice and peaceful location right next to the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to the bus stop.
Credit cards didn't work in the hotel.
clean room, nice location on the beach, Kitchen from the Oaz makes very good italian pizza and pastas.
- did not like the road to the hotel, road without asphalt, with rocks and potholes - did not like the flooded underground parking area - did not like the way of addressing to the customer in written, in the "Rules" on the room wall. There were a couple of common sense rules but all starting with " You are NOT allowed to ..." which we consider rude or at least not polite - did not like the way some staff from the reception or lobby while trying to be polite, you can see they are making efforts to look polite to you. - did not like there was no towel to put in front of the shower when you go out. - did not like thet staff from the buffet breakfast is forbidding you to take the coffee to the terrace if you want to smoke, claiming that breakfast coffee must be drank inside the restaurant, otherwise you must buy a coffee from the terrace bar if you want to have the coffee outside. - did not like that we couldn't use credit card to pay for the hotel, although the staff from the reception claim they have a POS but all the time it seems to be out of service. They also have a piece of yellowish paper with the message "POS out of service" - did not like that we couldn't use a credit card in the whole region because all the time everybody is saying, "for now it's out of service". - did not like the feeling of being alone in a claimed to be turistic region but without turists, probably 5% occupancy among all the hotels in all the neighbourhood makes the region look abandoned. - did not like the dirty beach on the left and right of the Oaz private beach, staff is trying to clean garbage from the their beach but only in front of the hotel, the rest is a mess and no trashcans except one which vas full and garbage around it. - did not like the sea very dirty, the waves were constantly bringing, used tampons, plastic bags, used baby dipers, other garbage and a lot of dead sea vegetation.
good food (a la carte) for reasonable price, location near the beach, value
The beach is nice... Can't say anything good about the hotel itself.
The bath is so full of mold you don't want to enter. Everything is dirty, towels, linen, chairs. Lots of moscitos so you have to close the windows, but the aircon does not work.
My second stay at this lovely hotel Lovely staff and food Nice room
Not hotels fault but I went end of april it was wet and cold and some nights I was only person staying The season does not start until 1st may Hence not all facilities open
close to the beach, swimming pool
Right on the beach. Room with ocean view including a balcony.
In the offseason the pool is inhabited by frogs.
Friendly people! I was there in April, the place was nearly empty, but they created a nice stay. Nice pleace between the big Hotels around!
We stayed here with a group of friends. The staff are very lovely and the hotel has prime location on the beach. Excellent value for money.
Loved everything about this hotel from the lovely staff down 2 the lovely food The pool area is great as is the lovely beach right on the doorstep
From what we expected, we got much more in this hotel. The staff was very nice, unfortunately only manager of the hotel speaks english fluently, the rest of the staff have just basics of a language, but they were always willing to help you and they really do care about you and that is what I see much more important than language skills. The position of the hotel is simply great - you got everything you need. The bus stop is a few steps from hotel and goes to Durres often. Also you have three small grocery stores nearby. The neighborhood was noiseless (no constructing near to hotel, no loud music during night). If you want to try other than hotel restaurant (which was good), you have many and many options nearby. Room was cleaned every day. The beach was also cleaned by staff as much as possible. Thanks to the staff of the hotel and especially thanks to hotel manager who really helped us a lot many times, we really enjoyed our stay in Albania and we are definitely going back one day.
The only thing that started bothering us at the end of our stay was the breakfast - it is not very varied so after a few days you get a bit bored. But it was not such a big problem anyway.
We stayed in Hotel Oaz during our holiday in Albania. The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable. The staff is nice and helpful, the owner is present and very helpful. You can enjoy the exclusive location on the beach and lovely sea view. Surely, we recommend Hotel Oaz for your stay.
rather small bathroom
Very nice staff. Warm breakfast. Close to the sea.
Dirty sea. Very noisy hotel, poor soundproofing in the rooms.
staff are very kind except receptionist. rooms are very clean.
although there are lots of mosquito. they don't do anything. for this reason you cant sleep.
Basement garage, good staff.
Dirt road to the hotel and unpleasant smell around. Smashed mosquitos on the walls and lack of insect protection for open window. Nothing to sit on except beds in a poorly furnished room. Bathroom with old shower base made of plastic loosely attached to the wall, thus with mould in-between. Too short shower curtain which resulted in flooding on the bathroom floor.
The staff of the Hotel was very nice. The parking was in the garage, so it was safe. The beach is only a few steps from the hotels terrace and is very beautiful.
The breakfast could use more variety. The hotel is very nice on the beach side, whereas the back side is quite dirty and there's only gravel road leading to the hotel. Also there are lots of trash everywhere, except on the beach side.
