The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable
TV did not have BBC news
Lighting in the room was dim at best. HVAC system did not work properly, had to leave the window open because heat would not turn off. Plumbing was iffy, sometimes I had water, sometimes not. This is Albania.
Location, I splurged on the executive suite which was huge. Overlooking the main square and open to views on three sides of the building. Very nice spa facilities
Overall, the room was great. The bathroom could be updated with a nicer shower/tub.
It's a centrally located hotel right at Skanderbeg Square in the heart of Tirana. Once you exit the hotel you'll be able to see all of Tirana's main sites around you. It's a totally safe area where you can enjoy a walk any time. The staff was friendly and polite the room was spacious and so was the bathroom. Everything was clean. The hotel's restaurant as well as the breakfast were superb. There is a safe parking space for your car and the view from our room was great as well! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely would come back soon. We'd recommend this place to anyone staying in Tirana.
The wifi signal would sometimes disappear.
The location is great - it sides the main city square! Close to many cafes/restaurants, museums and within walking distance of almost all sites. Even close to where you catch the free TEG bus to the big new out-of-town shopping mall. The staff are friendly and are knowledgeable about directions to sites. The Tourist Information office is just around the corner. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfy and quiet. The breakfast selections go on and on - plus you can get a just cooked omelet or eggs any style. Highly recommended!
Very good confortable room. Prime location
Right in the centre, many things were walkable. Very clean, good facilities.
They want your passport for the entire stay - did not like this........
Location Staff Services Comfort Breakfast
The view, the room, cleanliness.
The staff was very aggressive, speaking on a superior tone. No complete information offered on their wellness centre. I almost fell in the changing room due to wet floor and wrong type of slippers offered. Sauna was turned off and not heating properly due to whole in the wall, under the coal location. The wellness centre closes at 9 and is completely closed on Sundays...Why?? If I need to exercise I cannot!!! Massages and other treatments costs around 50 Euro each but when you book the hotel you have the impression that it is included in the price as they present it so. I have chosen the hotel for this purpose only and I left with a big disappointment! The staff in the wellness centre was awful. No communication skills. I actually wanted to have a massage and I had to insist to have information and they just turned me off as they do not work on Sundays. My advice, fire them! Coffee sucks!!! You need to provide fresh made coffee, it is not so expensive! If you want to have breakfast at 7 o'clock there is no omelette. Actually almost anything although they start quite late serving breakfast. Wi fi signal was very bad in the rooms. I had to work in the lobby.
Well greeted, very friendly and professional staff, excellent location, room was comfortable and clean just like the rest of the this hotel's facilities. Very good breakfast, if in Tirana again I will return to this hotel and recommend it to others.
Location , staff is exelent
I like evrythink
The door staff were lovely and friendly and reception were very welcoming also. The restaurant staff are very attentive as are the staff from the bar in the lobby. There was a good selection at breakfast and we were very happy with this.
The pool and spa was closed while we were there and we were not made aware of this before hand. Quite annoying when you intend to use the pool while your there. The rooms are basic, nice but could do with an upgrade. We found there is no difference between a normal room and a deluxe so dont bother paying for the delux.
Rooms, breakfast, staff in restaurant, location
Some reception staff rude. Wifi didn't work in all public areas
location, room, breakfast on the terrace, great view of the square and city
pool and sauna were closed for renovation
Good location in centre of town
We stayed for 3 nights in Tirana International Hotel. We made a trip through Albania for 2, 5 weeks and wanted to relax for the last 3 days. We saw on the internet that this hotel had wellness facilities. When we arrived they told us we couldn’t use the wellness because of reconstructions. We told them we’ve chosen especially for this hotel because of its swimming pool etc and we asked them for an alternative. The receptionist would ask it at her manager, she couldn’t decide anything without her. We asked if we could check-out, to go to one of the other hotels wíth wellness, but she told us we had to ask it at booking.com (we used this website to book). We couldn’t use the telephone of the hotel (how stupid) and called on ourselves. Booking.com contacted the hotel and afterwards suddenly it was ok to use the wellness. We used it the day after. We took the elevator, but only one works to go to the wellness. We took the wrong one and the lady of the reception rolled her eyes. When we arrived at the wellness area we could only use the pool and nothing else. The acme was that there were absolutely none constructions going on. They lied about it. Even on their website they didn’t say a thing about reconstructions or the unavailable wellness. It’s just not fair they don’t tell their costumers nothing at all of their non existing reconstruction in the wellness area. We were really very disappointed. We have seen a lot of hotels in Albania and we always paid less for better hotels and a better service. Even the room missed a lot of basic conditions, like air-conditioning and a proper shower. When we asked in advance to reserve a taxi, the receptionist wrote it down. But at the moment itself, there wasn’t a taxi at all. However he picked a taxi on the street, but at the end the taxidriver asked more money. We felt cheated, because of their lies and their way of working. We are absolutely not happy of the service. The staff was rude, arrogantly, unkind and unhelpful.
It was the second time forme and my husband . i loved the view of scanderbeg, i loved the inside pool and th e gym, I loved the breakfast.
Nice hotel with helpful staff. Perfect location, right in the city center. The best panoramic view of Tirana. Especialy from the upper floors.
A bit pricey. Breakfast could have had bigger variety.
location clean room breakfast
still old bathtubs with curtains...
Location and view from my deluxe appartment on the 14th floor, free spa and breakfast
The facility itself is somewhat old, but the value for money was worth it
Hospitality of the people
Very good position in the city, nice and very clean rooms, good quality breakfast, good free WiFi
The location of the hotel is great. Reception staff were very helpfull also the other hotel staff were very nice and polite The breakfast is very very good i like the food there What else i think its one of the best hotels i ever statied I would stay again here if have the chance to visit tiran one more time Finally, thanx for all staff in the hotell..
We stayed here twice - one week apart (with a trip around Albania in between). The impression from the first visit was all positive, but it seemed that staff were somewhat hassled on the 2nd visit - possibly because the occupancy rate of the hotel seemed to be a lot higher. Great service from staff in all areas on the first visit, and especially from the check in and laundry staff on the second visit.
On our 2nd visit, it seemed as though staff particularly n the restaurant were too rushed to provide a really good service. It seemed as though more staff should have been on duty to handle the large number of diners there were trying to deal with.
