Warm welcome and easy check-in Very comfortable beds Excellent food and wine at dinner Great breakfast, lots of lovely fig jam! Quiet and no loud piped music Lovely gardens The staffs welcome for my 2 dogs Meeting other guests in the garden Close proximity to the city centre On-site parking
Unfortunately the shower door did not prevent water spilling out to the floor and we had to put towels down to prevent slippage.
Friendly, helpful staff. Traditional decoration throughout the hotel. Great food. Variety of spaces.
Everything was great.

the hotel was very cosy, situated in a tastefully converted old building.
the food in the restaurant and the breakfast was a bit of a disappointment
We had a nice stay for one night. Nice traditional room and good restaurant.
It was quite warm to sleep in the room. No airco, just a ventilator. The breakfast was not extended.
A wonderful, stylish, quiet place with a really friendly personnel.
Tradional, Albanian style in the rooms. Amazing hospitality and the best service you can have. Fanstastic food you can enjoy in the restaurant located in courtyard. For sure we will come back
Nothing to complain.
The Owner has a real feel for his culture and has a small museum of artefacts. Food in the courtyard in the evening was excellent and they are famous for their breakfasts - fresh produce including the figs they picked from the tree above our heads and stuffed with a feta type cheese. Delicious and a novelty for us. Room decoration interesting. Ours was rather small but clean with hard mattresses which afforded a good night's sleep. Hotel is a little way from the centre and not easy to find. An oasis in an area which is a bit of a dump.
The City of Shkoder which, apart from a vibrant refurbished center which could have been anywhere, is not worth visiting other than to stay at the Tradita
Good food, nice hotel!
Charming building and nice restaurant.
Rooms are poorly equipped. Internet is very slow. Breakfast is good, but not very hearty, you have to ask for everything.
Friendly and very helpfull personnel. We had a very spacious and authentic room. Very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast could be used in the garden. Parking space was available at the hotel.
The place is really good and clean. The staff is really kind: everyone does everything to make you feel at ease!
Excellent option in Shkodra. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast and restaurant. It is an old building perfectly restored. Location near the city center.
Lovely historic building which had be refurbished extraordinarily well with lots of old things - characterful and interesting without being cluttered or fussy. Staff were extremely attentive and the food was fantastic made with fresh local ingredients. There was an idyllic courtyard where we had breakfast. A memorable experience staying here.
This hotel was a real gem. Centrally located, spotless and very tastefully decorated. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. Bikes were available and they could also arrange transport, both with and without a driver. Bertie our driver drove very safely, and was most obliging. We returned here when our rental car plans failed and happily spent another night. We would highly recommend Tradita.
Wifi was patchy at times.
Excellent restaurant with traditional dishes, unique!
Traditional ambiance, Breakfast was very good (siyah çay yoktu), Friendly and gentle personnel, Close to city center.
No kettle (water boiler) in the rooms, Poor air conditioner, No wardrobe in the rooms.
- garden ( you can sit there all day drinking tea or coffee, eating lunch , talking , reading , such a nice place) - traditional room - breakfast is great
- the wifi works only downstairs when we were there
-The hotel is charming and the staff is very nice, however the area around the hotel is a bit odd. The hotel is far enough off of the road to feel secluded and away from the chaos. -There were bikes to borrow and had we been there longer we would have borrowed them :) -The courtyard is great for enjoying a meal or breakfast. -The staff offered to arrange early breakfast for us if we were going to Koman lake. -Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. -The experience at the hotel's restaurant for dinner and breakfast outweighed the negatives of the room.
-Understandably, the building/rooms are old, but the mildew/mold smell in the room was quite bad and made being in the room uncomfortable. -The fridge was unusable as the smell inside of it was unbearable and permeated anything we put in the fridge. -WIFI didn't reach the room, but there is a seating area outside of the room where the wifi is available. -For a tall person the shower was very small and water gets everywhere in the bathroom. -All things considered, we may have just had a bad room with some long-standing water damage and mold problems.
Beautiful room, excellent food, restaurant highly recommended. The staffs were friendly and eager to help. The owner was so gracious and upgraded us for free to a 5-people room (we’re just a group of 3). We had a very pleasant experience staying at this lovely and traditional hotel and will definitely visit again and recommend this wonderful hotel, especially their restaurant, to anyone.
Probably the most scenic hotel in this town. Lots of beautiful handicraft on display, both in hotel common areas and in the rooms. Very nice atmosphere in the back garden, possible to both sit out in the open or under a roof but still outside. We ate most of our meals there. It's easy to meet other travellers there if you feel like it (or stay on your own if you don't). Friendly owner and employees who made us feel very welcome. People here are a good doorway to Albanian food and culture. The hotel has a number of bikes you can borrow, we explored the town on one, great (if dangerous) fun. Great food! We'll stay here again if/when we come back.
Our room did not have AC. We had two fans which helped quite a bit, but real cooling (when daytime temps rose above 30 degrees C) would have been better. WiFi mostly works, but not always. For iPad I'd rather recommend just buying an Albanian prepaid SIM.
Friendly, professional and helpful staff. The hotel is close to the pedestrian walkway of the city and to the most beautiful Rozafa Castle (visit it!). The tables of the restaurant are located in a very relaxing garden.
I had to pay cash, but I didn't get whether the payment via credit card is never possible, or it was simply not working because of the thunderstorm that caused a blackout at dawn. Anyway the offered me a bike to go faster to the bank and withdraw :-)
Very central hotel; very nice welcome and the staff were extremely helpful. The garden was lovely and it was a pleasure to eat out there. i would highly reccomend this hotel.
