Score from 22 reviews Very good
This stay was really enjoyable, the hotel is beautiful and decorated with taste and charm. The personel is really nice and helpful they really helped us for everything.
little inconveniant is the wifi connection and the thin wall doesent help when the neighbours next door are not really quiet...
friendly and accommodating staff tea & coffee facilities in room lovely hotel and workshops good location
Expensive hiking tours weak internet signal
The interior design is beautiful. Staff were helpful. The restaurant is very good.
Design and decor
Poor sleep quality due to uncomfortable mattresses. We stayed at 3 Tufenkian hotels in Yerevan, Dilijan, Dzoraget for our entire week stay in Armenia. The beds are identical in all three locations, with sinking mattresses that give no support and led to achy backs, bad sleep. Strongly suggest Tufenkian invests in better mattresses to match the quality of the hotel which was lovely in every other respect.
The location was the greatest value of the hotel as well as the friendly staff. We liked the big deck that our had,the view was unforgettable.
We pretty much liked everything.
Beautiful new rooms and great location on the hill. We left early in the morning before breakfast would be ready so the staff packed us up a to-go breakfast. It was wonderful and the staff was very helpful.
Internet wasn't very good
Good choice on the menu, friendliness, willigness to find someone else to help explain things.
Some food orders not exactly what we asked for, eg large poition instead of small. Problem of communication. Internet slow.
Location and small workshops within the property.
Thin walls in the room. You could hear the neighbor's tv. Only okay breakfast, took a while to replanish food and beverage items.
A wonderful hotel with everything at our doorstep. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Dilijan!
The staff was very helpful, and the hiking the suggested was absolutely amazing!
Not really worth the money you spend, and the breakfast was basic.
Close to natural environment, clean comfortable interior, tasty breakfast. Staff in good English.
Location, surroundings , food, everything
The design is very authentic which makes the hotel comfortable and unusual. We asked for a baby cot and got the confirmation about it before we checked in. Food in the restaurant was quite good but the portions could have been a little bit bigger. But the dishes were tasty as well as breakfasts.
The smell of canalization in the bathroom ( but it is a usual thing in many hotels and restaurants in Yerevan and other cities).
The architecture is unique with Armenian style. Very cozy and quiet area.
Only one restaurant in that area and no room service.
Rustic, but functional.
Parking / hotel entrance not easily identified (at least not at night).
The hotel is really nice a pictoresque with trully Armenian style. Unfortunately the hotel is just the only remaining nice part of the old Dilijan, but the surrounding nature is wonderfull. The restaurant serves very good Armenian food and the breakfast buffet is rich.
The room was a bit too small for our 4 days stay and with rather limited space to put our clothing (no wardrobe). Also the queen bed was quite small and soft. wi-fi doesnt work in the room.
Clean, modern room. Nice breakfast buffet.
Must stand outside room to get wifi. No A/C. Staff talking outside at night and I had to ask them to move on. As the main hotel in town, the staff we not very knowledgeable on transport in and out of town. They gave us bad info saying a marshutka was at 8:30 to head towards the border, but after arriving at 8 at the main square, various drivers said no such transport existed, and we would now miss the once a day marshutka from Vanadzor. We ended up having to taxi to Vanadzor and hitch hike to the border. For our two trips to various monasteries, I emailed ahead of time to arrange a taxi driver to take us to the sites. Their prices were extortionate! When I emailed back to ask why so high the reply was "So if it is not convenient for You, You may try at place but we do not think that any taxi will take less." The 25k price we got for 12k and the 45k price we got for 23k from two different taxi drivers at the main square without much difficulty bartering.
