1551 Palermo Boutique Hotel  

This hotel is located in an old bakery, and boasts of a spectacular lobby and a courtyard. The desing and execution are very nice, but it seems to us that it was done under the original owner / management. The current one has no idea of the "hospitality" concept. It is only about a quick buck based on the remnants of the past glory.

Yes, we chose this "hotel" for a good price. No, we did not expect it to be a boutique-type property judging by the photos and price. Having arrived at 2 am with no other options we had to spend a night in a mouldy, damp cellar beneath the street level, just next to the entrance, with a stenchy bathroom. When I politely talked to the receptionist the following day that these two rooms did not meet ANY standards whatsoever, even for a backpacker joint, she told me we knew what we rented. NO, I said. YOU DID NOT SHOW ALL THE DIRT, MOULD AND APALLING BATHROOM ON THE PHOTOS TO GIVE US A CHANCE OF MAKING A CONSCIOUS DECISION. And she replied: Of course we would not show that. But we are going to paint the mould soon. So if you are happy with this improvement, go for it! OF COURSE JOKING! NEVER, EVER!!!!!!

A very peaceful and serene hotel in the heart of Palermo. I was only here for one night but my stay was hassle-free. Breakfast was great and the room was well designed and very clean. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel reception, the garden, the breakfast.

The room had no natural light. The pool was not clean and didn't have any furniture to sit outside and enjoy the pretty garden.

Una opción barata, aunque hay que tener en cuenta los impuestos (21%). Tiene supermercados cerca, y está a unas 5 o 6 cuadras del subte.

La ubicación no es tan buena como parecía (es Palermo viejo y no hay nada), y el hotel está viejito. Estábamos en la twin, y solo una habitación tenía televisión, de las tres luces que habia solo funcionaba una, etc... La responsable del hotel muy agradable, el resto un poco más flojete (cuando llegamos había un tipo que nos tuvo que explicar las cosas en inglés, porque el español como que flojete). Si pagas con tarjeta hay un recargo del 10% (a nosotros como pagamos casi todo en efectivo no nos lo cargaron)

O Ambiente interno e a construções é bonito.

Todo o ambiente estava sujo e mal cuidado. As janelas do quarto não fecham. Não havia toalhas no quarto. Péssimo lugar, não recomendo.

Le quartier

Chambre située en sous sol, sans fenetre, vieille, salle de bain à refaire, moustiques. Petit déjeuner plus que sommaire. Personnel peu sympatique. Endroit vraiment surcoté, tout a fait en dessous de nos attentes. Et en plus, le vendredi, nous n'avons pas pu profiter de l'hotel, occupé par une réception de mariage, sans que nous en ayons été prévenus.

Magnifique petit hotel de charme, correspond plus a chambre dhote que hotel. Malgres que ma chambre (la moins cher) navait qu'un tout petit velux, elle etait tres bien amenage avec beaucoup de gout (brique apparante). Petit dejeuner extrement copieux (patisserie, pain, jus dorange presse, fromage jambon, cafe, etc...).

Es una hermosa casa reciclada, muy bien puesta y la atención es muy cordial.

El baño compartido no es de lo mejor pero tampoco es grave

En las habitaciones falta mas confort, no tienen tv, y tampoco aire acondicionado, y te vende un paque mentiroso que no existe. El wifi en la habitacion no hay tenes que estar en el lobby para poder trabajar
