Wifi in the room.
good location right near cruise terminal walking distance to places to eat and main strip, good breakfast included, staff friendly and helpful
no control over room temp had to open window to cool room down wifi in room not great
Great location on the waterfront and only one street back from the main drag. Excellent restaurant with good views over the waterfront. Comfortable bedrooms with good , free, Wi-Fi.
Great location, convenient
Location ! Very close to touristic peer where excursions start . The restaurant : expensive for what it is but good . The little Spa is a plus after hiking day !
Noise : you can easily hear your neighbors :(
The staff was superficially friendly but did not go out of their way to help our
- Close to harbour
- Rooms and facilities are filthy - Front office staff is rude
It is near the harbor ... but so are a lot of hotels.
WAY OVERPRICED for what they deliver. The worst internet connection of anywhere I experienced in the city. A strict adherence to "check in at 12" forced me to wait over an hour after rooms were obviously ready. Torn, dirty carpets mended by clumsy needle and thread. If all you want is to be near the harbor and don't need internet AND are willing to pay double what you will pay in the center of town, then this is the place for you.
Waited 20min before check-in Insulation of room is bad Breakfast is ridiculous Rooms are not nice
Hotel had iffy wifi. In my room the wifi was almost nonexistent, had it a few minutes and it went out. I used it in the restaurant and lobby, with the appropriate passwords, and it was worthless. I talked to staff about it and they showed no concern
All staff were helpful and friendly
This is a rather tired and antiquated hotel. Reception staff members were cold and aloof, bedrooms were small with paper-thin walls, and wi-fi was intermittent. Many rooms had no windows; my "view" room did have a window but was partly below street level! Hotel is popular with the cruise mobs, so can be noisy and overcrowded at times. Worst of all was the breakfasts - supplies of food (eggs, juice, coffee) and materials (cups, cutlery, plates) ran out by 8.45 am on two consecutive days and were not replenished, despite several requests to totally uncaring dining room staff. I won't be back!!
Situated in the centre of town, fantastic location. Particularly handy for those about to embark a ship.
Weak WiFi in some areas
Only stay at this hotel, because our Antarctica cruise meeting point was there. Nothing special, just very average hotel. Price tag seems too high for the quality and the service. Not very clean, carpets very old and need replacement. Location good, in the middle of the town.
Wi-Fi very slow and hardly can be accessed anyway except lobby.
The location. Free computers. Always one available.
The breakfast. The room needs new carpet.
Location, restaurant on site, very nice modern bathrooms, front desk speaks English and are helpful, 24 hour laundry service
Carpets need to be upgraded, no thermostat in rooms to control temperature so rooms are hot and stuffy, only one small elevator so when a group is taking luggage down to join some expedition, you have to wait a long time before you get an empty elevator
Friendly staff, quiet location, convenient to town and pier. Good food. Felt comfortable traveling alone.
I had issues with my booking through no fault of the hotel an had to book 3 extra nights. While reception staff helped sort it out they weren't very pleasant about it.
Carpets in corridor needs to be replaced ,chairs in dining room upholstery in need to be repaired
The location is the best for ship departures to Antarctica and is also good for visiting the town. We also enjoyed the walks along the sea front and seabirds close by.
The breakfast was very poor. Some of the dining room staff were casual to the point of rudeness and very slow. We didn't like the street noise from the hoons that stop on the corner and hoot horns all night! And it is expensive for what it is.
Somewhat scarce breakfast in the morning - seems the only drawback noticed.
close proximity to town and shops good gym hotel has a cozy atmosphere
need more morning hours for gym to be open.
Great location,excellent restaurant,helpful staff
Carpet was old and grubby ,probably understandable in the climate though
. Spacious property . Buffet breakfast . Working wifi
. Entrance is off a steep side-street to the right. Do not look for the entrance in front of the hotel. . Overpriced like most hotels are in Ushuaia probably because of the touristy location . Jacuzzi/gym is not open in the morning. Using it is unlikely except for those who intend to stay in the hotel all-day.
Rooms were lovely, windows opened, staffers helpful
Quite expensive but nice hotel. However had to pay up front fully for two nights post cruise and when cruise cancelled I had to email the company to get a refund even though it was 10 days away from bookings - very difficult in a another language.
