Good location. Gym.
Not a 5 star hotel. Swimming pool and area are not clean. Old feel. Needs absolute updating.
This has to be by far the worst so called 5 Star Hotel I have ever had the displeasure of staying in. The reason for my visit was to see my wife (she is Saltanien) whom due to visa difficulties I have been apart from for 8 months. On the day of booking the hotel through booking.com at the bottom of my booking I included an extra note explaining that I had not seen my wife and if they could make any suggestions to make our stay more romantic and also about payment. I also followed this up with an email directly to the reservations email advertised on the hotels website. Bearing in mind this was 4 days before my stay I thought that ample time to get a response. Except I never received a response, not exactly what you expect from a "5 Star" hotel. Upon my arrival to the hotel ( 9.00pm ) I questioned the check in staff about this, their response was they have no idea and to ask the next day at reception. Which is exactly what I did, again I was told by reception they wouldn't have an answer to my question and probably the reservation team have been too busy so were unable to respond to my email because "they receive alot of emails". I was asked to leave my email address so that the manager could contact me directly to discuss the matter further, well that was 5 days ago and I've heard nothing, not that I am surprised. I booked an Excutive room on the 10th floor which was advertised as more prestigious, except it was not. In fact upon arriving on the 10th floor there was a stench of sewage which continued into my room. Along side that the room only had one bath robe and one set of slippers, minor details I know but when you are advertising yourself as the No.1 5 star hotel in the city its the minor details I am paying for. The hotel has an ambience of arrogance that is not backed up with the actual experience. All in all I would steer clear of this hotel.
Staff service was good, hotel restaurant food was excellent.
We travelled around Argentina for 5 weeks on a honeymoon and stayed in 12 different 4 and 5 * Hotels: this was the best of them all. Outstanding in everyway and amazing value for money. Puts so many others to shame frankly.
If I were being hyper critical, I would say the restaurant wasn't up to the standard of the rest of the Hotel.
far from 5 stars
Great hotel right in the middle of Salta. Very close to Plaza 9. Amazing view of the mountains from my room.
The only thing I could fault is the terrible coffee! Everything else was great.
Luxurious hotel, welcoming staff, good base for exploring historic Salta
The carpet in the rooms apparently was never cleaned, there are stains everywhere.
Great location. Wonderful service. Comfortable room. Spacious bathroom
We liked everything
Location, and rooms are sapaciosusyy and lovely
I loved it.
large bathrooms, great views, excellent breakfast, really nice staff
Air conditioning did not work all along the stay terrible hot and the staff of the hotel did not care. And it is supossed a 5 star hotel.
We loved the central location, which was close to the main square and a short walk to great restaurants. The staff were very friendly and eager to help us in any way. The hotel was a great starting point for travel to Purnamarca and to Cafayate
Absolutely nothing. Great all around.
Breakfast is generous and the service attentive.
Carpeting and the rooms in general need a bit of updating and better cleaning!
Pricy but spotless! Valet parking was very useful (included in the price) as parking yourself in Salta could be a nightmare!
Everything - high standards maintained in all areas
Excellent service and always helpful staff. Great location, close to attractions and good restaurants.
Breakfast was okay, but we had to wait a while for things, like scrambled eggs, to be replenished.
